I agree with alot of whats being said here, a mix of youth and hungry, and experience and know how is what we need.

Aguero and Ribery are the players we should be looking at, also, Hamsik.

hamsik would be a decent player for aston villa or spurs, but not Chelsea.

if we are to sign a striker it must be pato or aguero.

Still having an excellent season with them by all accounts. Scored a decent amount of goals and has been something of a revelation in the dutch league. Reports on Miro's website claim that Chelsea have offered him a new deal...

hamsik is a midfielder not a striker and i rate him very highly he has a lot in common with frank lampard .... he know how to time his run into the box he has an amazing shot and his passing game is great but defensively he is not very solid but he is good so he can work on that ....

his only problem is that he prefers to play in the same place as lamps .....

i ve read a lot lately about a major bid for torres of at least 50 millions ...... offcourse torres is one of the best sharpest and most feared strikers in the world i would love to have him ..... but i would love to have aguero more as long as we have DD because torres canot play as a second striker or as a winger ......

also he is 27 while aguero is only 21 ....

torres already proved he has more than what it takes to handle the epl toughness but he as well proved that he is injured for nearly half of each season ......

i hope that players like torres , villa , gerard , maicon , snieder , alves which are all linked with Chelsea right now wont make it to the team .... and instead others will.... like aguero , pato , di maria , ribery , suazo , hamsik . pjanic ,dzagov ......

I think we need a regeneration period. We need to re-build our squad. We have a lot of dead wood and they need to go. I think we need to get rid of our ageing players who contribute little.

Ballack, Paulo, Deco, Belletti, Hilario and Carvalho.

Also i think Joe Cole (Sorry Joe) and Kalouless are blocking the way for our young players to get game time.

I think Anelka should leave but only if Carlo insists on playing him out wide.

Some people have been saying bring in five or six players and also promote 6 or 7 youth players. You do that you will have a squad of 30 plus players which is not going to work. Kakuta, Matic, Bruma, Stoch Cork, Hutchinson and Mancienne should be promoted. Then we don't need to brin in too many players. I would like to see 3 players come in. Milner, Sneijder and Aguero. Young (I don't think Sneijder is that young though) establihed players who will add quality to our squad. My squad would be...

Dude, you really want to put in unexperienced players like Bruma as a 3rd centre back? That would be suicide, he is a good player, but it isnt fair to put so much pressure on him. We have to develop him, not 'overwork' him!

Well, should take two things from that; 1. Apparently, Hamsik isnt (yet) interested in going to a big european club 2. We shouldnt try to buy him when he they want a large sum of money for him (he is talent, but talents also bring risks with them. Besides, the high transfer fees are mainly to protect and keep a player a the little clubs, so we shouldnt be stupid and still buy him for that amount of money!
