kakuta44 16
they are wrong about mikel in that article.yes i dont think he will leave and i dont want him to leave ..... but what grapped my attention was not the possible targets or exits it was the statistics about each of our managers and the fact that ancelotti comes 4th in points per game after hiddinck mourinho and grant ...... EskWeston 696
Well the stories have started to hit the papers already about a spending spree, but i take it with a pinch of salt. Every season we are supposed to be spending vast ammounts on this player and that player. Hopefully there are some truths there because we DO desperately need a clearout and Carlo needs to build his squad. Also Carlo needs to go back to giving the youngsters a go, i think he stopped using them once the transfer ban was dropped and he didn't have to rely on them as much for next season. But Kakuta should be getting plenty of games from now till the end of the season because he be a truly great player for us.
Steve 10,227
Agreed. Kakuta has as much potential as any player to ever play the game at his age. I cant see why Carlo stopped playing him. <br>

That would be really horrible,I don't have numbers but I think he stopped using youth since we started playing :censored:.
warnie_666 1,081
The Irony is, Kakuta has never played again after his "MoM" performance against Apoel in Champions League. At the moment, he looks a better bet than Joe Cole and Deco.I for one beleive, we need to get a bunch of really good young players in the first team. The likes of Pato, Kakuta, Stoch, Matic, Hamsik, Aguero, Asenjo, Bruma. This team could do wonders if played together for a a couple of years. Add to this Experience Candidates like Terry, Lampard, Essien, Cech, Drogba, Mikel, A. Cole, Malouda, Ivanovic, Alex, Bosingwa. And we could have a real good team on our hands. boshman 1,073
I think we need a regeneration period. We need to re-build our squad. We have a lot of dead wood and they need to go. I think we need to get rid of our ageing players who contribute little. Ballack, Paulo, Deco, Belletti, Hilario and Carvalho. Also i think Joe Cole (Sorry Joe) and Kalouless are blocking the way for our young players to get game time.I think Anelka should leave but only if Carlo insists on playing him out wide. Some people have been saying bring in five or six players and also promote 6 or 7 youth players. You do that you will have a squad of 30 plus players which is not going to work. Kakuta, Matic, Bruma, Stoch Cork, Hutchinson and Mancienne should be promoted. Then we don't need to brin in too many players. I would like to see 3 players come in. Milner, Sneijder and Aguero. Young (I don't think Sneijder is that young though) establihed players who will add quality to our squad. My squad would be...Goalkeepers: Cech, Turnbull, TaylorDefenders: Bosingwa Ivanovic, Hutchinson, Bruma, Terry, Alex, A.Cole, ZhirkovMidfielders: Matic, Cork, Lampard, Mikel, Essien, Mancienne, MilnerWingers/Attacking midfielders: Kakuta, Stoch, Malouda, SneijderStrikers: Drogba, Anelka, Sturridge, Aguero The average age of the squad will be decreased, the wage bill will have been decreased and we will have the young mixed with the experience. warnie_666 1,081
I'm not sure we need a bunch of kids cause it would be horrible if we became like the Arse.As I said a mixture of these kids and the experienced players. Players like Kakuta, Aguero, Soch, Malouda, Matic, Hamsik can all play one touch quick passing game. Add to that power of Essien, Drogba, Lampard and Mikel. Scored a decent amount of goals and has been something of a revelation in the dutch league. Reports on Miro's website claim that Chelsea have offered him a new deal...
