Kezza 1,965
One big dribble all the way. People were mad cos he won CL, then was sacked. The team could not have continued with him. He is responsible for Chelsea being out of CL now. Also, I would appreciate if you refrain from telling me whom to support. Are you missing are few brain cells? He bought us back into the CL numbnuts. He bought the players, the club and the fans the greatest night of their lives. Right now, I don't think the team would be worse off had RDM not got sacked.

Hopefully, you will use your pea brain a bit.DiM helped to win CL, FA for Chelsea. Of course I was very happy, then. However, his park the bus tactics against Barca & Bayern did not sit well with me & many football fans all ever the world. Are you with me ?That´s all I have to say about it.

Are you with me ?That´s all I have to say about it.With the players we had last season, parking the bus was the only way we could win the elite competition and I can't see that being a bad thing. At the start of this season,we played some amazing football, the Spurs game could be a prime example but then we hit a long run of bad form and panicked a bit.If Roman had given Roberto some time,I am sure the Italian would have gotten us out from that bad patch and resumed the terrific start that we had.Sticking with Rdm would have been better but no point contemplating about that now.Roberto Di Matteo is a Chelsea Legend and thats all we should be talking about. No, I am not. I just did not like it. Read my postings, then write.Would have DiM gotten Chelsea out of the mess of this season ? That´s debatable. Obviously, the management did not think so. Therefore, he was fired.

Are you with me ?That´s all I have to say about it. Have read so much of that nonsense since winning the Champions League. Really could not care less about how and what people think of how we play to win the Champions League. People are deluded to brand us a defensive team and one who parks the bus in just 2-3 matches. Ask all these people how many of them would want to be our position. Many of them would want to deep down inside their heart. Also, how come no one mention the matches where we put 4 past Napoli, 5 past Spurs at Wembley?! Who on earth in their right mind will try to play an open game and attack against Barcelona and even Bayern Munich especially in their own back yard?! We did what was within our means to achieve the results and we did that. Week in week out, look what happened to teams who tried to take the game to Barcelona. They ended up getting hammered. Real Madrid losing 5-0 to them was probably a prime example. And look at what happened under AVB against Arsenal. Tried to play an attacking style football with a high defensive line and we got hammered 5-3 at home! Furthermore, we have played better football in previous years in the Champions League and still come unstuck in the competition. If it means playing this so called defensive football to win the Champions League, then so be it.

The debate was about the style of football he ordered, then. Many did not like it. The world of football writers, experts were not very pleased with it. However, to point it out here should not be so hard to accept, should it ?When I read clueless attack on Rafa that´s allowed. When I point out DiM style I was attacked. Is that fair to you ? It did not sit well with me or many other football people in the world over.Well next time you get together with these guys, you can tell them that Chelsea supporters don't give a fuck what they think. It was a pragmatic tactical choice. I'm sorry we didn't march into Camp Nou like Wenger and try to beat Barca at their own game, but we actually wanted Chelsea to succeed. The people moaning about our style of football clearly had nothing invested in our succeeding.
SinineUltra 1,170
You guys are not having a proper argument. This is an attempt to insult one party to somehow magically make one reconsider their beliefs. Having an opinion that may not be popular in many eyes does not make one less of a fan or mentally retarded. Show some more tolerance towards each other and don't carry on this silly debate. You can expect people to have totally different views on life, football etc but that does not make you nor them wrong, just matter of perspective and the only option to reply to them shouldn't be hitting them unconscious with abuse. TorontoChelsea 4,064
You are correct. It did not sit well with me or many other football people in the world over. Are you seriously complaining about us beating Barcelona? Had we tried to out-pass Barcelona or something, we would have lost 5-0. We played the only way we had a chance to win and we got lucky and we won. The people complaining were mostly either Barcelona fans or people that hate Chelsea. Nobody could call that game anything other than thrilling, even for neutral. bushman 2,043
Well said @sinineultra.I believe one party or all others should be allowed to write their opinions here. After all, it´s a free world or isn´t it allowed here ?Just because I did not like the way Chelsea won the CL, does that make me less of a fan ? I understand when people want a better overall style and are unhappy with something that is less than beautiful to watch (that's for you Roman) but I don't understand how any Chelsea fan felt anything less than unadulterated joy when we won. I was jumping up and down like an idiot when Torres scored/Drogba scored/Cech saved a penalty/Drogba scored the penalty. I didn't think "well, the football we played was not aesthetically pleasing so this is less than satisfying." I can't imagine a Chelsea fan feeling that way. In fact, it's shocking to me that anybody would think that. T
