BluesChick 1,260
I remember it well, I had friends who worked in the Trade Center (luckily made it out alive) and we lived in Pennsylvania, about 200 miles from where the 4th plane crashed. It was incredibly eerie afterwards when there were no planes flying (we were 5 miles from an airport) and trying to find out if people were okay. I will always remember and always pray that we never have to experience that again.

Ray. 217
I remember it as I was off sick that day. It still makes me shudder thinking about it and I hope something like that never ever happens again. There really are some sick bastards about. Aesthetic Relic 301
I was 25 and sitting in her dads house as I'd just dropped her off to work. When I got in he had the TV on showing what was going on. I'd only just sat down when the 2nd plane hit. RIP to all those who lost their lives.I really felt for everyone, but the main thing that stuck in my mind were those images of people jumping to their deaths. That must be a horrible decision to make. Sitting there knowing you're completely cut off and would probably perish by the fire/smoke as rescue was practically impossible. To make that decision to jump.........I dont know if I could do that. Its a very brave thing to do. RIP and thoughts with everyone affected by this terrible act of cowardice.

I remember waking up to this, getting ready for school, and i went to watch tv and all i saw was my mum crying and the second building get hit, very sad day for the whole world.
