Paying 16m for a player to cover... that is not really the way Chelsea want to go into, right? Then our figures will never been green.

The same goes for Zhrikov, he is a wonderful player, absolutely fantastic player, but I hate to see him sitting and warming the bench when we paid a fairly large amount of monies for his transfer.

But when you have someone there to cover another player you want them to be able to perform as good as the player you've just lost.

Would be a pointless signing in my opinion. He is a first team player and we have planty of cover in defence and on the wings. He will have no place in our squad!

I think you guys are forgetting that we'll say goodbye in summer to Belletti and probably Ferreira, so what happens if Bosingwa gets another long injury and Ivanovic gets even 2 weeks injury in the week when we'll have to play CL? You want to play Hutchinson than?

i ve watched some videos for this guy and i can tell you he is a great RB he will give bosingwa some hard time ... he has pace his dribbling is good , a good defender , but what he really excels at is absolutely fantastic crossing , great shooting and super free kicks .......

but still we have bosingwa and iva .... i cant think of any other club who has two RBs with the same quality as bos and iva ........ so i think we ve got this area covered .....

so unless this guy can play as well as a right winger or right midfielder .... then he will be a big waste ...... waste of our money and waste of his talent he really good but may be chelsea is not the right place ...

i mean its bad enough that one of bos and iva will be left out next season .........

well i hope most of i read was people being sarcastic as i have read a lot that after losing belleti and fererra we need another cover in case iva and bos get injured ....... WTF !! in that case you play hutchinson or bruma NOT WASTE 18 MILLION JUST IN CASE ...

Totally agree. Posted in another thread that we have Ferreira, Ivanovic and Bosingwa for the RB role, and Mancienne, Hutchinson, Bruma and Essien can play there in emergencies.
