diskoviolente 425
Frankly I couldnt give a flying fuck what Platini has to say. What happened against Barca has been well publisised. The best way to get right up his hole is to go out and win the CL next season. When we go passed him on the podium I'd love to see everyone of our players blank him. Its been clear for some time he has an agenda with the EPL. In a way I want Manu to win and in another I dont. Hearing them harp on about "CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND.....CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE shite does my tits in. I hate their fans more and more each season. Can they both lose ? I was thinking exactly the same since a few weeks ! Spot on, mate
Laylabelle 9,534
Agree!!!After the game wanted Man U to win but the more its gone on about the less I do.I just hope they dont win it on pens if they do..or just dont win it at all.But then again after he's said this about Barca kinda want them to...ahhh lol And agree about Plantini my god think the fans also give him the reaction Luton gave to..whoever it was at Wembly..just to make our feelings more known if he dont know already that is
Term-X 7,891
But then again after he's said this about Barca kinda want them to...ahhh lol wtf! .. why do you care what platini says? he cant get on the pitch himself and win a game i want barca to win! anyone who dosent is a loser and has the anti-roman abramavich mentality and wants us to finish 3rd again next season, if man-u win they will go on to dominate the league and europe for years to come and sign kaka with the winners money. BlueLion. 21,491
I can't say I want either team to win, although I couldn't stand hearing United fans bragging if they won it twice in a row.

In your mind, maybe that is so In many other peoples minds, they want United to win just to shut up the Barca fans/players who stole the CL Final from us. I didn't root for either but friends wanted United to win. They aren't losers, They aren't Anti-RA-Mentality, and they still think we will win several titles next season Whether United won or not today, their future for next season will still be the same. It isn't changing.

What a load of shite. What will winning the cup mean for the next few seasons? Just because they win the cup wouldn't mean they would dominate all competition and everything. And the winners money thing is also complete bollocks. As far as I'm concerned, there's no garuntees as to who would sign Kaka with it. Delusional. Term-X 7,891
i think the main motivation was for man-u not to make history by winning it back to back than what will happen in years to come any Chelsea fan who wanted man-u to win tonight was wanting them to make history to further put a gap between our club and alex fergusons. and i dont see the problem with paltinis comments here? .. sure he's a dick but barca are a great team to watch and i enjoyed their performance tonight. Joe Cool 388
It's one season at a time. Just because they could have gone into next season with two champions leagues in a row doesn't mean that they would have walked the league.
Term-X 7,891
let's forget that for a second.. if they had won tonight the gap between our club and theirs would be even more wide, they would have been the only team to win it back to back so that's why i question any Chelsea fan out their who wanted man-u to win. warnie_666 1,081
Atleast the injustce done to us didnt go waste. Had Man Utd won, I wouldnt have bothered to read the tabloids for the next 2 weeks.

If we were close to them title wise, I would agree. But we aren't....so the gap is irrelevant to me AT THE MOMENT. We have a long way to go and them winning tonight wouldn't change anything. Their fans would still be themselves Their coach would still be him Their players will still be playing next year Their owners will still be spending Listen, I am NOT SAYING I disagree with you that those WANTING United to win makes me....disgusted....but some Chelsea fans did and you know what, Barca losing would have made me happy as well. Whatever mate, shit happens. Which definitely means that even if Man U had won tonight , they wouldn't be the first ones to have their hands on next season's trophy just because there was a "big gap" between us Edited May 27, 2009 by Joe Cool
Aesthetic Relic 301
If we were close to them title wise, I would agree. But we aren't. I beg to differ. The final league table may show we werent up for the fight this season, but our second half showed we were more than a match for them and everyone else who went through us like a hot knife through butter. If we have that mentality and commitment going into next season then Manu will have one hell of a fight on their hands wether they had won tonight or not. SystemBlueBob 0
Of course. But my point is, United is already ahead of us in total titles and them adding one more doesn't kill us for next year since IMO our players care about the here and now and not whether United added a trophy to their history advantage. Even if United had won, I don't see anything differently occuring to their roster that would have changed had a different outcome occured tonight
