Alee. 182
Chelsea's "Holy-Trinity" ready for Barca taskChelsea appears to have gone past Fulham after a great display infront of goal, scoring three past a high-achieving Fulham side. This was the performance that was needed, just before the second leg, and our strongest side possible, came out and gave it. Anelka put us in the lead after a swift move and a good finish all in the first 50 seconds of the game, although Nevland replied for Fulham right after, Malouda was able to make it 2-1, after 10 minutes, making the next 80 very tempting, but, Chelsea played professionally, got chances, created them, worked their socks off, and Drogba, in the second half, was able to majestically finish Anelka's beautiful pass, to make it 3-1 to the home side.>>> Read More >>> Edited May 3, 2009 by ChelseaBoi

BlueLion. 21,491
Football works in mysterious ways. The way they crushed Real will mean there is a lot of emphasis on them to attack, and much of the pressure will be on them to come and attack. The way we played on the counter today could mean this works to our advantage.

chelsea blue 615
Breaking news hope its true Thierry Henry To Miss Barcelona's Chelsea Champions League Tie Barcelona have been rocked by the news that Bernabeu hero Thierry Henry will be out of action for a fortnight with a knee injury... 4 May 2009 Thierry Henry will miss Barcelona's Champions League semi-final encounter with Chelsea on Wednesday after being told that he will be out of action for at least two weeks. The French forward produced a stunning performance against Real Madrid at the weekend and was relishing the prospect of facing the Blues in the second leg at Stamford Bridge. But the knock that he picked up in the second half in the Bernabeu has turned out to be more serious than first thought and he will now miss some key matches for the Blaugrana. Henry will not only have to sit out the game against Chelsea, but he will also miss the league encounter with Villarreal next weekend, when Barca could be crowned as champions, as well as the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Club. Further tests will be made on his knee injury as the week progresses in a bid to ease him back into action as quickly as possible but the news is not what coach Pep Guardiola wanted in the build-up to the trip to London. Barcelona will now look to move Andres Iniesta up to play on the left, where he has done so effectively throughout his career, and introduce Seydou Keita or Sergi Busquets into midfield. Henry has become a firm favourite under Guardiola after struggling to adapt and cope with a back injury during his first season in Barcelona after joining from Arsenal in 2007. the wes 7,212
Barcelona have refuted reports that Thierry Henry is out of action for two weeks and stated that not only is he in the squad to face Chelsea, but he could play. The Frenchman was the subject of claims that the knock on his knee that he suffered during the Blaugrana's historic win against Real Madrid would sideline him for two weeks. Sport ran the story as their main lead, but have since been forced to retract it and replace the news with confirmation that Henry is travelling to London. Marca state that sources from within Barcelona have told them he is not out for two weeks and will be monitored ahead of the game at Stamford Bridge before undergoing a late fitness test. It is a sudden turnaround from the earlier statement, because while he was kept quiet in the first leg against Chelsea, Henry showed what he can do against Madrid three days later. After netting two goals in a superb display in the Bernabeu, Henry's absence would have been sorely felt by the Catalan outfit, and there was talk that Andres Iniesta would move up to the left side of attack. Allied with an injury to Rafa Marquez and the suspension of Carles Puyol, coach Pep Guardiola would have had to shuffle his squad even more if Henry had certainly been out. Laylabelle 9,535
In the Daily Mail today he was saying hes gana play And from BBC: Barcelona's Thierry Henry was forced to sit out a training session on Monday, but he should be fit to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Henry, 31, picked up a knee injury after scoring twice during Barca's 6-2 rout at Real Madrid on Saturday and was substituted towards the end. Barca will be without captain Carles Puyo, who is banned, and defender Rafa Marquez, who is out for the season. Martin Caceres could partner Gerard Pique at the heart of Barca's defence. ............................................ Ok it says should but by the sound of things he is gana be played Edited May 4, 2009 by Laylabelle

bombayblue™ 55
The Referee Tom Henning Øvrebø (born 26 June 1966 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian football referee. He works as a psychologist outside of football.[1] Øvrebø has refereed 205 matches in the Norwegian Premier League since his debut on September 20, 1992. In 1994 he became an authorised FIFA referee, and has refereed many matches in the UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League. He won the Kniksen award as referee of the year in the Norwegian Premier League for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006. He refereed the cup finals in Norway in 1999 (Rosenborg - Brann) and 2006 (Fredrikstad - Sandefjord). He was chosen to referee at Euro 2008 - his first major tournament and the first time he was chosen over fellow countryman and colleague Terje Hauge. He refereed the Germany - Poland match on the opening day of Group B. He refereed the Italy - Romania match which resulted in a 1-1 draw. The Italian Football Federation later demanded an apology from UEFA after Luca Toni’s goal was incorrectly ruled out for offside in the Italy - Romania match that Øvrebø refereed.[2] There was also criticism of the official for a penalty shot given to Romania and a yellow card to Daniele De Rossi at the ending moments of the game. Afterwards, Øvrebø admitted he had made a mistake during the game.[3] Øvrebø was not assigned any more matches to referee at Euro 2008.[4] He was preselected as a referee for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.[5] Referee Stats for 2008-
