RX8 40
He can go and see if he can do it right some place else. He is a regular normal player. He has not show anything to deserv a chance. Good luck in other team
termninja 5,290
We should let him leave if we can't guarantee him a place in our first team. If we sell Alex though, I'd rather keep him.
ulsterchelsea 3,221
we should have let him leave a year or so ago, dont think he was ever going to make it with us
BlueLion. 21,491
His Wolves loan spell has shown that he is not quite Chelsea quality, he is error-prone and has struggled to make much of an impression this season. A move is best for his career.
NattyBlue 44
Goodbye, the fucker did one over on us back in 2008 when he basically made us give him a nice contract or said he would leave. He was a mistake and that's why we let Borini go, fool me once...
Ollie 4,400
He's not good enough and imo he's not even premiership level let alone Chelsea level. He needs to leave and settle down.
Makaveli 59
If David Luiz didn't come, he'd have chance to be a regular first team member but now it's gone. I rather see him on another loan than sell him.

Makaveli 59
Well I remember a time under Hiddink..he was doing very well. But he's 22 now and we've got fantastic defenders anyway..

Ollie 4,400
Hamburg... that's kinda random i must say. Bit like when Tyrone Mears went to Marseille lol.

Kieran. 6,317
Hamburg... that's kinda random i must say. Bit like when Tyrone Mears went to Marseille lol.I don't think it's that random. Frank Arnesen said he was going to attempt to lure some of our players away once he joined Hamburg.
Guest justin_3d
Good move for him. I hope Arnesen takes a couple of our youth that don't get a chance. I rather see them doing good in another team like Sinclair with Swansea, then rotting in our bench!
Madmax 9,219
England Under-21 captain and Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne has this afternoon arrived in Germany to finalise a €2m transfer to Bundesliga outfit Hamburg. After completing a medical, Mancienne will sign terms before heading off to join back up with Stuart Pearce's England squad ahead of the start of next week's European Under-21 Championships. He will become Frank Arnesen's first official signing since the former Danish international departed Stamford Bridge to become HSV's Sporting Director, one which few will have seen coming.Mancienne arrived in Germany a short while ago and indicated his delight at the prospect of joining his new club:“HSV is a great club with awesome fans. I´m looking forward to play in front of more than 50,000 people.”Au revoir. Good luck.
LDN Blue 7,903
€2million? Still not a bad fee
chrismada9 1,948
Such a pity Mancienne has had to leave. But like Alex said, he's prone to the odd error in defence, so it makes sense if he moves on to experience something different.Good luck Mike!
