Matterz 67
I think Alex has proven this season just how world class he is, we have the best defensive record in the league. While carvalho is still world class he is getting on and the injuries are piling up, would rather he left and we kept Alex and Ivanovic who have their best years still ahead of them. Mancienne has shown huge promise and he should definately be part of our plans for next season and the future.

the wes 7,212
Chelsea could be prepared to put their young defender Michael Mancienne in the shop window. The 21-year-old spent the first half of last season on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers before returning to Stamford Bridge, but it appears that he does not appear in Carlo Ancelotti's plans for next season. According to ClubCall.com, Mancienne is about to be placed on the transfer list, triggering an auction for his signature. At the head of the queue are Wolves, who were impressed during Mancienne's stint at the club and believe that he could help their bid for Premier League survival. However, they will face stiff competition from Reading, whose manager, Brendan Rodgers, used to coach the Chelsea reserves, giving him a distinct advantage at the negotiating table. Mancienne is currently on international duty with the England U-21 team, where he has had a horror tournament despite his team's success. After being sent off in the opening match against Finland, his only other appearance came against Germany, where his mistake inside three minutes cost England a goal. warnie_666 1,081
No Doubt. I find it silly how Tabloids make their own Transfer news to sell their stock in the off season. Just cus we are selling Deco and Carvalho, they linked us to Burdisso in a swap move. When he denied now they link Ibra in a swap move. Bloody Cunts. Elliott 7
I will not be a happy bunny if these rumours turn out to be true. We should be making keeping Mancienne at the club and developing priority number 1 I think. If we can properly bring through a player who has been with the club since before he even hit double figures in age, we can expunge some critics, and it's largely satisfying also. BlueLion. 21,491
Wolverhampton Wanderers are trying to sign Michael Mancienne on a season-long loan, according to Sky Sports. Click here to see the source. Personally, I think it would be a great move. MM needs to show what he can do in the Premier League to warrant a squad place, IMO. If he goes to Wolves, we can see what he can do. Its clear he'll play at Wolves as well because he would probably be the best defender at the club. However, if he has the oppertunity to be 4th choice now then i think that he should stay because to get integrated with the squad now and play whenever given the chance for Chelsea can be just an beneficial to him as a loan to Wolves. Also what will the situation be at the club after the year, will we have signed another CB for him to have to compete with? It is a tough call to make, but we need to make the right one that will give him the best shot of being a CFC player in the future.
chrismada9 1,948
I seriously think Mancienne should stay at Chelsea. At least until January...

For one month we wont have defensive midfielders. At the moment we have Ballack to play there in their absense but we will be short in attacking midfield. Hence Id want Mancienne to be back for January.
BlueLion. 21,491
We won't sell Belletti. I hope. He's too much of a good squad player. Doesn't complain, gets his head down and tries his hardest. Model professional. Plus we'd only get £1 million at most for him; he's 32 and seems happy at the club, besides.
Elliott 7
Mancienne has been out on enough loans, lets integrate him into the first team.
Term-X 7,891
yea, no need for anymore loans and anymore defensive signings when we have youngsters who are ready even if we sell carvalho.
the wes 7,212
Chelsea are ready to send Michael Mancienne to AC Milan. The Daily Star says as part of their bid for Andrea Pirlo, Chelsea are willing to loan them England Under-21 star Mancienne as part of the deal. His first-team chances look limited this season and Chelsea want him to gain more experience elsewhere after spells at QPR and Wolves. chrismada9 1,948
I'd feel gutted if we swapped Mancienne for Pirlo!
Matterz 67
I think a loan to AC Milan could do him the world of good, there is a lot to learn about defending in Italy and its a big club so he would gain valuable experience. when he comes back he will be twice the player
