BlueLion. 21,491
One season we'll have some games against the likes of Burton Albion and Telford. Much more exciting.

misschief 24
Glad to see Kenyon's thinking about the supporters who contribute to his ridiculously fat wallet again. Wanker.
SuperSheva7 0
Gah! Why do they always go to the west coast? It's closer for me go to London during the season then go to Seattle in the summer...
warnie_666 1,081
Why Seattle of all the places, its sooo far....12 hr drive from my place. Rather be it LA or San Fransisco....

We Hate Scouse 10,348
Same old. Never think about the loyal fans at the moment. It's all about the potential fans and money.
Elliott 7
To be fair I don't think friendlies were ever about fans, they were about getting the team ready for the season. It is easier to do this locally, but when there's monetary benefit to be had by going far afield, why not. And to the North Americans here, they might do more than one game. Chelsea played a friendly in Chicago in 2006, and in 2005 played a friendly in Massachusetts and another in Washington DC. So when they play in the US, they do play both coasts! And this won't be the first time the team has played in Seattle, in 2004 we had friendlies in Seattle, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia (two more eastern cities).
