capriccioso 2,545
Rightly so. JT would take a massive pay cut if needed, and he'll still be a rotational option still. He wouldn't be at the club to waste it's money after being offered a way out like Malouda. The amount JT has done and achieved for us is in no way comparable to what Malouda has.How well they performed is irrelevant. At the end of the day they'll still the same when Terry hits Malouda's level, they will be two equally shit, past it players sitting on enormous wages while offering next to nothing to the team. Peace.
BleedsBlue 1,549
You can't compare yourself to a footballer. The club has told him they do not require his services any longer and should find another club, there have been several clubs interested but nothing happened all because of him not wanting to take a pay cut.The same pay cut he will inevitably take when his contract at Chelsea ends and he wants to continue his career somewhere else.True I guess then.Like I said before,he just wants to earn his 110k per week as long as possible so that he could still manage to have a7 figure bank balance when he is offered lower wages in Brazil. It does seem unreasonable now if you ask me. BleedsBlue 1,549
Ballack at 33 was ready to take a pay cut and stay at Chelsea but wanted a two year deal instead of a one year deal.Malouda at 32 isnt ready to take a pay cut and is ready to rot in the youth system.Deserves to Rot there. In Malouda's defense,Ballack was football superstar in his prime years and would have earned way more than Malouda ever will. His decision to take a pay cut wouldn't significantly damage his lifestyle as much as it would if Malouda had taken a pay cut to stay. The Frenchman is obviously used to the lavish life and doesn't want it to end so soon.Yes we can call him greedy but who can really truly blame him as an individual. Rubber bullets 1,183
I really can't do nothing but laugh at Malouda, I have no sympathy. He was given hints all summer (especially when he was not even on the bench for our first five games) that he was not wanted. So he can just rot and hopefully agrees to bugger off in January to save any dignity he has left.

The Skipper 20,609
Come on, be fair, Terry will eventually reach Malouda's level in perhaps 3 or 4 years time when he won't offer much.Terry is a club legend, Malouda isn't. Terry in 3/4 years will obviously be at the end of his career, he'll have reduced wages, his influence to the squad is far more beneficial than Malouda's ever will be, whilst Malouda can still play at a decent club as he'd still have 2/3 years of okay performances at a lower repped club. Cold truth.

Kojo 4,676
you ramble on about respecting Manure ,,yet talk about Terry like that.He hates Terry that's why, on that other forum OTC he was even saying i don't fall for any of that bias tinted liking to John Terry and was calling him a cunt... but he wouldn't dream of saying those things on here. Blue Armour 4,448
Anyway...what's done is done. Hopefully Lyon will come calling in Jan, and that move will finally happen.Even if what the club did was wrong, its not like Malouda could have contributed much with the amount of attacking talent ahead of him.
