Jype 6,398
For just 12million?! Laughable!!Not even Chelsea's board can be that stupid. Real Madrid have so many wonderful players and if we wanted them we'd have to pay way over the odds to get them. They can have Ivanovic if they give Özil and Sahin in exchange. LDN Blue 7,903
And guess what? Even the linesman gets the boot! Why? Because the decision was in favour of Chelsea and not the other way around. The linesman that also awarded us 2 offside goals? Let's not have double standards here

Jype 6,398
Interesting. Could it be that by appealing against it the ban could be delayed until a decision has been made and Ivanovic would therefore be available against Spurs on Sunday? Kieran. 6,317
That's what I thought, too. But they're having the hearing tomorrow so I can't see that being the case.
Amblève. 4,995
IVANOVIC APPEALSI'm probably wrong, but won't he be suspended for even 4 games if the FA didn't accept the plea?
Jase 43,479
I'm probably wrong, but won't he be suspended for even 4 games if the FA didn't accept the plea?My thoughts are exactly that! If the FA turn down the appeal, Ivanovic's ban will likely to increase.

Fulham Broadway 17,313
If its a 4 game ban -ie the appeal is rejected, means he'll miss the barcodes game
CHOULO19 24,332
I just don't get why he would appeal. It's most certainly going to be rejected.
Madmax 9,219
They denied Derry's appeal allowing Young to get away with a blatant dive while being offside, what hope do we stand? Should have just got on with things.
Bir_CFC 3,455
Don't understand why he would appeal. Unless he got Maloney himself to say he didn't punch him, I see no way out.
Jase 43,479
The appeal has been dismissed. Madmax 9,219
Hopefully it's not deemed a 'frivolous appeal' and he can play against Newcastle.
