So glad to see Inter Milan get Man United!

Real Madrid will be a tough draw for Liverpool too. Real Madrid have time to improve and Ramos is good in cup competitions as shown at Sevilla and Tottenham.

As for Chelsea this could also be a tough tie. Hopefully we will sort out our home form and find a plan B before this game. If not we might struggle Ranieri will want to prove a point, and Juve will be set out right tactically to stop us playing. Del Piero is the only real threat and JT and hopefully Carvallho will be back for that game so we should be alrite. Juve have a experienced squad but definitely there is more strength and quality in at least 8 other teams in the champions league. So im predicting we will see off Juventus.

Anyways it will be good to see Ranieri back at the Bridge. :blue scalf:

I wanted Juve but I am a bit scared...they are really good side with great players...like Buffon, Del Piero, Amauri, Trezeguet, Camoranezi, Nedved etc...they are a good side and this will be really hard to win..but ok we will need to show our qualitys.!!

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri insists all the pressure is on Chelsea after being drawn against his former club in the UEFA Champions League.

Ranieri will make an emotional return to Stamford Bridge after spending four seasons at the club before being replaced by Roman Abramovich in favour of Jose Mourinho in 2004.

The Italian admits that it is one of the toughest ties his side could have faced, but he believes if would be a "disaster" if the Londoners failed to progress.

"I can't say that I'm happy," said Ranieri.

"But it's a beautiful tie, a fascinating one and we will have to be in top form.

"Chelsea is a team that is constructed to win the Champions League and for Abramovich not to win it, it would be a disaster.

"For our part, we will try to stop Chelsea from reaching the top of the world which is where Abramovich has programmed them to arrive to.

Favourites

"They are one of the favourites to win the tournament and last year they only lost the trophy on penalties.

"It's a difficult but a stimulating tie for us but I don't think they will be happy to be facing us."

Despite his departure, the Rome-born tactician still has found memories of Chelsea.

"You cannot forget four years at a club," added Ranieri.

"I don't think Chelsea forget either."

Well, its all working according to the script.

Chelsea to beat Juventus in round of 16

Chelsea to face Inter Milan in Quarter Finals and beat them

Chelsea to face Liverpool in semis(its a given) and beat the shit out of them

Chelsea to face Barcelona in the finals and beat them.

And we are the champions!!!!!

After hearing Ferguson go on about the 'importance of finishing top' to rub it in our faces, to see them face Inter and Liverpool have Real is brilliant  Juve are still a good side and shouldn't be underestimated, but they certainly aren't the team of 2006 when they had Buffon, Cannavaro and company

Was too busy at work to see the draw and when I got a text, my first thought was its totally fixed. I know there's only good sides in it and the way they set the draw up, these sort of draws are always a possibility, but its just iffy.

Inter v United - Mourinho v Fergie again, what a great publicity spinner that is.

Juve v Chelsea - Old boss v New boss, another shitload of publicity.

Not forgetting these two draws definitely have the potential of seeing a couple of English sides go out. Mourinho always knew how to play Fergie's sides and with us away to Juve in the second leg, I can honestly see us going out at this stage. Although if I'm honest, I can't see anything other than a United win.

I know the dippers have got Real but they're far from a form side, so the scousers should spawn it and Arsenal's draw against Roma looks easy enough for them on paper (although I've got a feeling they'll go out as well).

Either way, Uefa are happy though - shitloads of publicity and a decent chance to get rid of at least a couple of PL sides in the next round.

Its a conspiracy against the English Sides. :whistling:

3 english sides in last year's Semi Finals indicated the dominance of English Football in Europe. This probably pissed them off, and hence they devised a consiparcy to boot these english sides out as early as the round of 16.
