Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari admits he must sell before he buys in next month's market.

Scolari insists his relationship with Blues owner Roman Abramovich is still good despite all the financial constraints. He said: "I spoke to him after the last game, against Arsenal. Was he fine? No, because we lost, but everything is normal."

And Scolari is aware some players may have to go to pay for any new signings: "Look, if the board wants to sell I am not the boss for the club. I am an employee. I am only the coach.

"Whatever player I receive, the players who are here, I play. My job is training these players and trying to do the best for Chelsea."

Who do we sell i would think its between Ferreira or Malouda or Maybe Ivanovic

Probs time to sell Ferreira tbh :(

And deffo sell Malouda...

But This article sounds like Scolari has no say in who comes and goes at the bridge, "I am only the coach"

Only? That is one of the most important people at the club

sell malouda please, let arsenal have him. lol you really would think we were skint. We need 2 wingers, we NEED 2 wingers if we're gonna keep playing this shit 4-3-3 that plain and simply doesnt work at home.

Why anyone thinks Chelsea deserve Roman's cash is beyond me. What we need to do is be self-sufficient and like Tri-Blue said, if that means being average for a few years then so be it.

We've been spoilt the past few years with big money signings. But we need to spend big to make the jump to be challenging. Imo we've waited too long to start bringing the youth players through. We should have been doing it 2/3 years ago instead of loaning them out.

Fair enough, you can say that they needed to pick up experience, but there no experience like playing with the first team. Sinclair for example......He's had the odd appearance here and there over the last few seasons. If he'd been kept around I feel we'd have a hell of a winger on our hands and his improvement would have been more rapid. I dont want to see the same with Stoch. He's had a taste of it and I'm sure he's hungry for more.

Agree with you 100%

United in particular have caught up with us despite our spending, so now I think we have to accept that the golden era we had through money is gone and start concentrating on improving the club as a whole. We can do this by using our youth system much more effectively, and Scolari HAS shown glimpses of being the man to do this, but we need much more.

United have caught up with us, cus they have spent alot and we havent in the last 2 seasons.

Liverpol also has been spending ridiculous amount of money. It was bound to happen.

I feel we need a squad overhaul. We are playing with the same team for 3 seasons now. We need new players in the attack, teams have studied our players and our tactics on field. And thats exactly what Scolari had mentioned. he needs to add brazilian flair to our attack for which he needs Robinho and not Malouda or Kalou.
