From what I seen he plays in behind the striker or on the left side I think he has had games there too.

Why would a product of La Masia who is apparently highly rated want to leave Barca and then likely get farmed out to Strasbourg? Seems really strange from his POV.

Conte title season aside we just scored most goals in the last 14 seasons. All this with our best goalscorer in Nkunku not being available. Firmino was in the middle but was scoring less than Salah and Mane. 

If Palmer continues this way and Nkunku joins as expected David would be perfect in the middle because he offers so much more in every department plus will score decent number of goals. And more suitable for Maresca style. 

 

There's no disputing that. I just feel we need more of a presence upfront to switch roles with Jackson (if Enzo persists in using him as a CF as well). 

There is no guarantee Palmer gets anywhere close to the same numbers next season, and Nkunku's fitness is a mystery at this point. We, as a club, can't afford to gamble at that end of the pitch.

I wonder if this Barca kid is the Duran alternative and we can still get Jonathan David as the main competition for Nico Jackson.

Again, I wonder why the hell one of La Masia’s current most promising talents who Barca fans seem to rate and want to keep would want to leave Spain at such a young age and agree to be loaned out to Strasbourg. Feels really, really weird.

You’d think he’d be signing a new Barca contract and asking to be sent on loan to a smaller La Liga side to gain experience in the comfort of Spanish football.

How bad situation with strikers are now in general tells you that 2 best strikers on EURO are 31yo German joker from the bench and some guy from Georgia who was relegated in Ligue 1.

The conversations with Marc Guiu's representatives are close to being closed.

It is not ruled out that he will go on loan to Strasbourg. It's a posibility.
