henrik lin 0
He is too old for premier league. He doesn't have the speed we need...However, I want to see him playing with Terry as a center-back.He has all the qualities of a good player. He can play in the back for two more years. It is just a problem of his salary...I'd like to see a one year extension, but two years at his age is too much. He started off excellently, and although his form has dipped I still think he's playing better than he did last season. Keeps the shape quite well in our diamond formation, and I have no qualms about him in our squad at the moment.

People forget he was one of our best players a few seasons ago. His been below average this season but he has the ability to improve... just look at Giggs and even Scholes. Just because his old it doesn't mean his a bad player. Keep the faith.
Blueman 57
Yes he is a world class player who has done it all and I am sure he will regain his form because as they say form is temporary class is permanent. Moreover, this statement shows that he still has hunger and ambition to win the premier league and the UCL unlike what some people are saying that he is in it for the money. bombayblueâ„¢ 55
Will be really surprised if we offer him a 2 year deal.. Wouldn't put a 1 year deal with an option to extend for another year past it though, somehow it sounds reasonable
coco 1
He done his bit for us and has been well paid for it , so i think when his contract is up we should part company before he start's to run backwards
Blueboy 14
Mmm, ain't so sure about this one. He already has had his best period probably, and since he's one of the big earners in the squad, i dont really see a problem in him NOT getting his extension

LDN Blue 7,903
The Guardian is reporting that a number of Dubai clubs are looks for the services of Ballack.. The UAE is known for being a good destination for footballers who are coming towards the end of their careers, like Cannavaro.http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jun/07/michael-ballack-chelsea-contract-dubai

TomCFC 357
Powerful Midfielder Michael Ballack signed for Chelsea during the summer of 2006 by José Mourinho on a Bosman Transfer. Along with Essien and Lampard, Ballack was one part of a Midfield trio that bullied opponents with brute force and unrelenting work ethic. Ballack was known for his goals and attacking prowess in Germany but gave up that aspect of his game to give stability to the Midfield and allow Frank Lampard to venture foward and net his usual 20 goal haul. Ballack picked an impresive five trophies during his four years at Stamford. One League Cup (06-07), three FA Cups (06-07, 08-09, 09-10) and one Premier League (09-10).Ballack continued his unfortunate reputation of being a nearly man when Chelsea lost the 07-08 Champions League final to Manchester United. This was the second time Ballack had lost a Champions League Final; the first being with Bayer Leverkusen in 01-02.After ChelseaBallack's dream of retiring at Chelsea was denied when he was refused a contract extension after his leg was broken during the 09-10 FA Cup final caused by a Kevin Prince-Boateng tackle. This poorly timed leg break made the Germany Captian miss the 2010 World Cup. The German Captaincy was handed to Bayern München Captain Philipp Lahm. This didn't sit will with Ballack and to this day he is certain that he still the rightful Captain of Germany.Ballack departed Chelsea on the 9th June 2010 and on the 25th June 2010 he signed for Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. Ballack had previously played for Leverkusen for three seasons and had scored 38 times for them.Click here to view the record nachikethas

Corazón De León 58
Yeah, I think so too. He should get 100! Ballack is a legend!!! I've loved watching him play, for both Chelsea and Germany! Robay Yansah Siempre
chrismada9 1,948
99 caps after his final game?? That's harsh! At least let him get his 100th cap before he retires!!
irishblue 128
According to German tabloid Bild, Ballack has declined to play that farewell game.
LDN Blue 7,903
Much like the whole Beckham incident. Ballack & Lowe haven't got on well since Ballack thought he could reclaim his place post-World Cup. Much like Beckham with England (though, to a lesser extent). However with both teams heading towards a youth direction, such legends of the game are now being frozen out. Beckham & Ballack refused their "farewell" games & continue to make themselves available. But the likes of Wilshere & Carroll to shame really..
