It is clear from this photo. Mendy is definitely much shorter than 196cm.

Players height is often way off. Pulisic around Mount, CHO, Jorginho, Werner also does not look that short.

Funny how Mendy and Koulibaly players from Senegal are/were listed 6 or 7 or 8cm taller than they really are.

 

 

But Zouma looks an inch or two taller than Rüdiger, who i have personally met and i think is the full 1,90m  he is listed, on this pic too. So maybe, Zouma himself is taller than 1,90 and Mendy is about accurate?

Player heights are often off but i have seldom seen one listed too low, albeit there are a few cases in the squad that are definitely wrong.
