Spike 12,049
He is a poacher but in a different way to Torres. Higuian is very similar to Ruud Van Nistelrooy, in the sense that he is always there to put the ball in the back whereas Torres relies on through balls and pace to get one on one with the GK.SO do you want a Van Nistelrooy clone? Remember he did score 150 goals for Yernited.
capriccioso 2,545
I don't want any poacher at all unless his name is Fillippo Inzaghi. That way there's no chance of a flop.
Spike 12,049
I never liked Inzaghi. He was great in the Champion's League but pretty average in the Serie A.
KamikazeBlue 337
He s leaving Madrid for sure..His team mates had tshirts thanking him for his time during the celebrations..He wont make our team good unless we have a good midfield..And most importantly we need a striker badly..You know what happened when liverpool squeezed evry ounce of blood from el nino.. Joker10 946
Talk about the worst possible replacement for Drogba. You go from a guy known for his big game heroics, to guy who who absolutely disappears when you need him the most.He is great striker. He scored one goal less than Falcao, with half less time. 26 goals, 8 assists. Very good player, if he only play regulary he would have 30 goals at least...But he wont leave RM, I'm sure about that.Imagine if Falcao had the same service as Higuain has at Real Madrid. Drogba never seems bothered against the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Everton, West Brom etc but Higuain is the type that wants to score a hattick against these guys. We have drawn or lost against against 'lesser' teams 10 times this season and those teams were: QPR, Liverpool, Wigan, Fulham, Aston Villa, Norwich, Swansea, Everton and West Brom. LDN Blue 7,903
Definitely not the type of striker we need. Not till we have the right resources in midfield anyway.

Justin_3d 1,140
Higuian is good striker but I don't think Chelsea will go for him.If i was Higuian I would go to Juventus. He will be great in that team!
Kojo 4,676
Higuain is a good striker! I may be biased, but there is hardly any outstanding differences between him and Benzema. Everyone said that Torres wasn't suited to us because he wasn't aided by any mid-fielders, but if we do get a strong MF, why can't Higuain join CFC? He will cost less than Torres and be more efficient!Higuain needs creativity, like he's going to get that at Chelsea. We need a hard worker up front who is a good footballer, not someone who relies on creativity or it's not going to work. Kojo 4,676
You mean an immovable statue like drogba and crouch? Or a poacher like Higuain and Huntelaar. You mean a respone from a person who gets butt hurt when you talk about his fellow countryman?, or someone who is really stupid and puts Drogba into Crouch's catagory?. Kojo 4,676
Or someone who can't spell? You criticized my argument before you heard my opinion. According to your response, I should be more hurt over someone criticizing Israel than the USA.Oh sorry for making typo's and not being arsed to edit my post. No you're a tit and just hate people who don't think Argentinian players are good. You went mad when we beat Barcelona 1-0 because Messi was on the team... how are you even a fan?. I don't think a poacher like Higuain would suit our tactics.
Spike 12,049
Higuian could work with some of the new signings Chelsea but he would struggle with the likes of Malouda, Kalou, Sturridge etc are playing on the wings. If Higuian is who we are after Lavezzi is a must.Argentina make the world's greatest Fowards, but really struggles in the Goalkeeping, Defence and Midfield departments.
