Well something got seriously screwed up somewhere. Man City had an offer accepted? Did we match the bid? if we did, then did Madrid not accept it from us but did from Man City??

Clearly Madrid were not happy with us and wanted to stick 2 fingers up at both us an Robinho, Madrid would have said to Robinho, fine you want to leave so much then your option is Man City only - and suprisingly he took it!

I am not happy that firstly we lost out on Robinho, secondly that we lost out to Man City, and thirdly we are very light on players upfront.

There is nothing from the Chelsea camp because they were well and truly embarressed by Madrid. We have no idea at the moment if we matched City's bid! It is very likely though that we did and they turned it down because they did not want to sell to us.

What is it with us and transfers.

We either pay over the odds for players or get taken for a ride. We're a fucking charity case for everyone else in Europe, paying players wages while on loan and folding when a player wants away.

Its about time we toughened up and stopped letting clubs make a mockery out of us.

The UKs tough stance on Russia over the Georgia crisis could well be making it difficult for Roman to invest in our club.

He has in the past shown himself to be very astute at avoiding conflict with the powers that be in the Kremlin, so I personally wouldnt be surprised to see him step back from &/or disinvest from Chelsea if tensions continue to mount between the West & Russia over foreign policy.

i was really surprised when i read the news on pl.com....it was just like :
