Siince Fergie Talked bout Chelsea having players in 30's etc. Lets Check the ages of 30yrs and above players in Chelsea and Manchester United.

Chelsea in 2008: Deco 31, Lampard 30, Drogba 30, Shevchenko 32, Ballack 32....TOTAL AGE= 155 years....

Manchester United in 2008: Giggs 35, Scholes 34, Van Der Saar 38, Neville 33 and Rio 30...TOTAL AGE = 170 years.

To be fair, Giggs and Scholes have all but been replaced and Neville didnt even see the ball last season. Out of our players, Sheva's the only first team doubt surely?

Umm...Well..how bout the seasons before the last when Giggs and Scholes and Neville along with Van Der Saar were the first names on the team sheet. They were still in their 30's then werent they? and our players were in their 20's.

To be fair, sky ran a thing showing the amounts of 30 and overs in each club and Chelsea along with Hull came top with 8. Cudicini, Ballack, Shevchenko, Lampard, Carvalho, Drogba, Deco, Hilario. But half of them are 30 only, whereas United have got a few players around 35, we only have Cudicini in that category at 34.
