This move would make sense if we get James and sell Cesc. James and Willian cover RW, Oscar and Brozovic (as a poor man's Cesc) covers CM. Haven't seen much of him but the fact he's a Croatian central midfielder already sounds amazing.

Well no, he is more inconsistent than Oscar. And arguably Oscar is better than him in every aspect. Would rather keep the brazillian at b2b, than play him.

Well at first he'd only be a backup for Oscar. He' certainly good enough for that role, isn't he? And he's still young so maybe Conte improve his consistency.

How bad do you have to be, to be only a back up to Oscar?

There are certain categories of player just not worth going to the market for. A backup for a player who is already not good enough to be a starter is surely among those.

So Kante, Matic, Oscar, Cesc, RLC, Chalobah, Mikel and Brozovic for 3 positions ? 8 players ? Without European competition ? What is that. Yet only 1 player (Kante) towards which you don't have any sceptisim.

There is NO PLAYER at Inter who would in any shape or form improve Chelsea. 

They only had two decent players but they sold Kovacic to Real and Hernanez to Juventus.

Wondering if anyone here saw him at the Euros? I thought he was fucking fantastic. Looks like an incredible squad guy who works hard for the team, defends, takes free kicks, can pass and has good technique...

Course they are. We are reportedly giving them 25m for a player who is not in any way remarkable. That's a lot of money in the Italian league.

You're sounding like you got hate in your veins, what am I missing about this Brozovic character? I thought he was part of the best midfield tandem in the Euros and often stood out ahead of even Rakitic
