Knowing he was used as a sub in 90% of the games.... those numbers aren't too bad at all!This proves nothing. Yeah but the games he actually started in he was close to abysmal most times bar one game v Brighton in the PL. Hes good to throw on against tired teams when your constantly getting service into the box but when we used him from the start, he was useless because his link up and movement was so mediocre. Surely this is more than a coincidence now? every player different case, imho with batman we tried playing him as a big hold up target man , which he is not , and if you watch his youtube highlights with Marseille you can see the similar style of Dortmund thats why he done well there, i'd like to see Chelsea play a true 3 attack in some games , Hazard,Batman,Pulisic, even a fun 4 with Odoi and 2 dm , he is one of those guys that will always get goals 4 sure ,and get better i think . The mess we are in , plus letting Fab go(free slot or 2) we could/should have kept him in January, im sure he would have got us goals=points=prizes.
