Regarding of our feelings for him as a captain/player of the club this is a totally different issue. I am black myself and will never change my attitude to Terry on the pitch as he is one of the most enthusiastic, never die captains you just want in your team and one of the best CB in Europe but when personal insults are made which is reported, he deserves to be punished. People here should not really be insulting Ferdinand, as he has been the one who has been getting death threats and is the reported victim on this case. I am not going to say "I hope Terry is found not guilty because he plays for Chelsea". This is a serious matter and I hope Chelsea fans feel the same way as me because racism has no place in football. I don't believe Terry is racist but did he make a racist remark in the match, I believe so.

Lip reading isn't the only evidence. The second evidence, the indisputable one is that Terry has admitted to saying "Fuck off, fuck off, yeah yeah, you black cunt? You knob head"

So even if the video and lip reading is complete dismissed, you still have Terry's confession of saying that quote. The question then becomes what context it was said in.

Terry has never denied he didn't utter "black cunt" The case is simply regarding the context it was uttered in. Was it simply Terry repeating Anton or was Terry in fact the first one to say it. That's the case.

I thought he was guilty until Cole said he "saw" Anton say "black cunt". So if you dismiss lip reading, which I'm fine with, you can dismiss Cole's testimony. If you do that, I think he's guilty but even then not sure there is enough to convict him.

But since context is the issue then there's even less substance to this case. If you disregard lip reading evidence, and thus, disregard both the video evidence against Terry and Ashley Cole's statement for. Then all you're left with is tit for tat, he said this, no he said that. In which case, you have Terry admitting he said it, but in a sarcastic context in which he was repeating the comment to rubbish it, and Ferdinand who claims he can't say with any certainty that Terry every said those things to him because he didn't hear it.

Honestly, do I think JT is a racist? No. Do I think on this occasion he may of risen to the jabs of Ferdinand and retaliated with a racial slur, very possible, he's human after all. The truth however is, that the only person who knows what was said is Terry, and unless he admits to saying anything there really is not enough evidence to convict him, in my opinion (which is worthless).

What a joke. It wasn't even worthy of a court case to begin with. It was just the media making a big fuss about something so trivial, something that could have been settled between the individuals, and Anton Ferdinand going along with it and whining about it because he's a douche. The worst part is, if Terry proves innocent, Ferdinand probably won't receive much criticism for being such a childish bastard because this whole shenanigan was basically set up by people who wish everything bad would happen to Terry so they can laugh at him. And of course, if he proves guilty, the media will abuse him even worse and for a very long time.

In a hilarious misunderstanding, John Terry was asked to repeat evidence that he had been sent off four times in his career.

“Can you say, please, four times?” asked his QC, George Carter-Stephenson.

“Please, please, please, please,” Terry responded.

Guffaws of laughter broke out around the courtroom at the misunderstanding, which was a result of the judge asking Terry to speak up.

That's what pisses me off. Every outsider looked at Di Matteo's team and said it was all Terry's work.

Lamps, Cech and Drogba seem like the 'intellectuals' of the group. Lamps had ridiculously good grades in school, Drogba is a University graduate and Cech just looks smart.

Terry was not necessarily 2nd, but "top three" according to the doctor who issued the tests.
