Shane 2,275
Perhaps I am being a little harsh, what I meant was, though I do agree, that as our captain and one of our better players, it's a shame he won't be playing, but given that he jeopardised our chances of even qualifying for the two games he will now miss, he get's no sympathy from me.Agreed, but surely missing one final was enough?Anyway, I'm sure in the FIFA World Club Championship he'll get sent off in the semi final

Our captain, our leader, our legend always manages to screw up when you really need him.

It's just bad luck for him he got sent off in the 2nd leg. If he pulled that stunt in the first leg he would 'only' have missed the CL final. I wouldn't bet against a similar brain fart in the CWC either
Shane 2,275
I'm going doing a 'John Terry' this weekend. Going to let the missus graft in the kitchen for hours cooking a roast for the family, Until I come with apron and cheif hat and carve the meat. capriccioso 2,545
I don't understand why he gets the blame for that affair exclusively. He didn't rape her, she wanted it as much as he did. It takes 2 to tango, yet Mrs. Bridge is a saint in the media.
Spike 12,049
I think it's Bridge's fault for not being able to shag his girl properly. Another theory, maybe if Bridge wan't a cunt, his partner would not have left him for Terry. capriccioso

Jase 43,479
Looks like Cole has taught Terry very well on the art of clearing the ball off the line.
Kieran. 6,317
Not Terry's first goal line clearance at a major tournament.

xPetrCechx 13,570
Man of the match tonight by absolute miles and is getting little credit astonishing obduracy of John Terrybefore Terry's remarkable clearanceWithout the resolve of Terry, Lescott and record-breaking Cole, making his 21st tournament apearance, they would surely have been blown away.with Terry performing miracles to get back and hack away at full stretch. Jype 6,398
Terry clear man of the match today but Gerrard gets all the credit just for "assisting" that goal which actually took three deflections from the Ukrainians before reaching Rooney. I even heard some cunt slating Terry for letting the ball cross the line but in fact he saved a certain goal. Of course it was over the line but he couldn't have done any more and to even succeed in that clearance is incredibly hard. How fucking biased can people be?The vast majority of England supporters don't deserve to have a player like JT in their team but still he is always proud to represent his nation. Most would have retired from international football already if they were in Terry's position. lecter
BlueLion. 21,491
England are through only because of how well Gerrard, Lescott, Cole and Terry have performed. The rest have been sub-par at best.

Manuf 1,448
I loved the moment when one Ukrainian shot from outside the box and Gerrard, who was covering him, hid his body and it went to Terry who just hit it with his shoulder with kind of a "meh." expression on his face. The Skipper 20,609
Terry proving he is by far England's best CB. If Rio got picked ahead of JT England would've definitely conceded a lot more, probably even heading home. Ukraine were unlucky tonight though. It's sad to see both host nations out.
