Iggy Doonican 4,186
Cappello was asked why are you still picking John Terry and why do you still want him as captain with all the baggage he brings?. Cappello's brilliant answer was '' He doesn't shit himself when he plays for England''. JT is a colossal defender and motivator everything you need in a captain. If they had just let him pick who he wants and make his team they could actually have achieved something.. Now look lol. They fucked it with Sam aswell, i genuinely believe he would have got England competing but now we have to deal with another tactically inept coach who will get his pants pulled down on the big stage. Not sure personally. Not sure Sam is all that tactically either, but over a 7 game tournament there are certainly worse options out there lol. The insistence to stay with a British coach is what's hampering England tbh. Hope there's some truth in this Wenger approach, sooner than later would be nice. Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Hopefully we win the title, can't have him going out like Ashley Cole. Still hurts to this day. The time is right, regarding this being JT's last season at CFC. Couldn't have him leave after that clusterfuck of a season last year. Conte has established himself, (or atleast it appears so), and the players look very motivated and happy (winning 9 straight does that). Crazy how the club was more concered with kicking him out last year while rewarding the worst player by a country mile, Ivanovic, a new contract. the wes, TheIceMan and Chelseabluerising

OneMoSalah 8,886
Pains me to say it but he's 36 and doesn't suit our system so it makes perfect sense to let him go end of the season but let's not forget about what a glorious career he's had here and he will always be our most successful captain and you could also say arguably best player? Also probably the best English CB ever as well as one of the best there's ever been in th last 25 years. the wes

To not taske advantage of how they would be of use as some gobetween, inspiration to the lads would be a sin.Heres JT showing his class after B'Mouth
