Chelsea v Sunderland

See I do agree with some of what you're saying, but I don't believe we had the options in the squad to make the changes we needed to. Everyone knew both us and City needed to improve, yet they went and spent three times as much as us (net) to do what they needed to.

There seems to be an acknowledgment that we were running on fumes towards the end of last season but we didn't do the business in the summer so when players had a downturn in form, we're left to look at Loftus-Cheek to come in which is massively unfair and also overlooks a lot of his weaknesses that he needed to work on gradually in order to maximise his potential.

You also say about doing things 100 times. If we're talking about Matic, Costa and Cesc then they don't have that sample size. It's roughly half of that and in the vast majority of those appearances they were magnificent and impactful. To regain the title we needed them to get back to that level and with fitness seeming to be a factor, match time was probably key to them getting there. You can't then drop them however much you'd like to. We simply don't have the resources for that to be a realistic option.

i am sorry but i just cant agree. cesc, costa brought nothing to us for the past 4 months. nothing. at some point, you have to give your squad a try. you have to believe in the youth. what if spurs kept playing soldado and never gave kane a chance thinking he would get better. thats just not the way a real world works. you have to take risks, you have to get out of your comfort zone and you have to take that leap of faith. jose did none of these things. we got screwed.

Yep I agree with the Daily Mail, they can't beat Bournemouth a Championship club newly promoted, but they can win a weak Premier League Sunderland really? And how can they go from crap rubbish form to win a game when we've lost our best manager?

Or maybe you know he is actually injured?

Exactly, we don't know everything and we'll never know how his hip feels to him. He's taken batterings before and been okay, but not everything is the same. A hip injury can haunt a player like Hazard, even if it's not serious.

Now, if he doesn't play until January and he's shipped out, the other side may become the more likely.

I'm waiting to make judgment.

Idd, as long as they don't provide any reliable sources I don't see any reason to believe the press. They're always full of shit

To even suggest you know or can see what he went through is ludicrous and absurd. I'll never understand some people.

I lowered myself to sarcasm for a moment.

It's hard to tell, mate. There's been plenty of this going around since the Leicester match. It's been a talking point for many people, not just including Chelsea supporters either.

It doesn't help that he's our star player. It's a click-bait dream.

"But, man, I fell on my hip in my soccer league and was fine! He's just being a baby!"

Scenes if Costa and Cesc combine to score a goal tomorrow.

I wish Hazard was gonna play tomorrow man, even better scenes.

Oh you gotta love it. Never change Chelsea. Best show in sports season after season.

To think people would actually be upset if Chelsea beat them like Maccabi. If those saying there will be boos are correct, they'll be even more upset. People outside the Bridge will think the pitch was invaded by an army of cows.

Only at the famous Chels.
