If we sign another experienced LB, it could have the same fate as Luis last season and we will sell him at the same time as today next year. It is make sense to looking for someone young and potential for this position as Azpi understudy also act as a backup. Baba fits in those criteria perfectly.

I have never seen this kid play. How is his attacking ability? Worse than Luis but better than Azpi I assume and therefore it makes sense as then both fullback positions would have defensive and more attacking options available.

He looks bang on average from what I have seen so far, looks like another dude we are linked to because of his physical attributes more than his actual ability. He looks average at best technically.

And what exactly have you seen? Have you watched him play or are you basing your rather poor assessment on YouTube?

can anyone give a nice summary of his playing style. strengths, weaknesses, play style, etc etc..

Doubt anyone here watch him even once, let alone extensively to give a summary. I think we can only hope he is a Zouma/Varane defender and not the flavor of the month who just had one good season because I never heard of him before until we are linked a few weeks ago.

Would rather us go for experienced back up tbh. Coentrao would be a nice signing if he wasn't too expensive.

Jose has said a few weeks ago that he doesn't want a Portuguese players this summer. And he said same thing last summer, as I can remember.

he is a strong guy, fast, has a good attacking contribution, can run the whole game up and down. weaknesses are in the defensive area: positioning sometimes, sometimes also timing etc. still a bit rough in the defensive part but he is quite good at going forward. even though Luis at the moment is the far superior defender, but it is Mous secret why he hasnt gotten any chance to prove himself here.

Add to this the fact that he is still 20 and has room to develop he looks like a gem. Hope he either grabs amazing chances and benches Brana or waits one year of his development, because I'm confident Jose won't be playing with a 33 year old slow CB at RB in a year. lol
