Mirror-Bidding war between City and Chelsea would force up the price of a player(Falcao) who has a £28million release clause in his contract.

Twist in the tale.

Thinking about the £28million release clause?? Well, i did so i surfed through internet and found this interesting article regarding ownership of Falcao. http://www.football-...tico-own-falcao

Wow that's....convoluted...

Just a thought - If we were to sign Falcao, and then he loses his finishing boots and can't find the net for a while... what else, if anything, does he offer on the pitch that our players can use as a strength?

Thats why i want Jovetic he offers more than just finishing.

People are finally waking up and smelling the strong coffee! Falcao is a great great player yes, excellent finisher and probably the best natural number 9 going - but for our team we need a different type of striker. Someone that can do a bit of everything - it's why I prefer Cavani over Falcao.

Who says athletico madrid have good midfielders and passers that supply falcao??

They are playing shit so far. Granada has bossed their midfield and athletico can't even get out of their half. Imagine falcao with our squad?? :cfc:

How many times have you watched Atletico this season to make such an odd remark? Besides - no one said Atletico's midfield are amazing - the general consensus is that Atletico have built their team around Falcao's strengths.

Yea... How did they beat us?

Looks like they prefer playing on the counter

You've answered your own question.

Agree. Ideally there would be another Van Persie/Benzema type walking around who we could pick up.

Me too, I would like cavani because of his HEIGHT and team play, and strength on the ball.

But falcao has runs, energy and finishing so it would fit us too. I don't think he would lose his touch in chelsea like torres.

Cavani does not differ that much from Falcao tbh, they are both pure goal scorers.

People said that. Remember they were also good in possesion against us so their midfield was overhyped.

I didn't answer my own question  the first comment was 30mins in and the 2nd comment was at half time. Analysing as the game went on bro..

Cavani reminds of Drogba actually, though he's more of a poacher. He'll drop back to get involved a bit. Not as good as Drogs though but he's pretty decent at it. He also knows how to hold on the ball quite well imo. And what I've always liked about him is his pretty decent long passing which he uses to switch play, a handy trait. Not to forget his high work-rate.

I don't think we need that. We have 3 guys that can do a little boy of everything but they are poor finisher. We don't need another striker clogging the center of the field trying to be involved in the build up play.

We have three, 3 !World class number 10 and you want a striker who would drop deep to orcestrate and linkup play, SERIOUSLY ? What's the point in that. And it's not like Falcao is the worst passer in the world and it's not like he get's dispossessed every time like Torres..imo we no need Drogba 2, but pure poacher-finisher and Falcao is the epitome of that.
