Why he can't go straight to madrid?!

Same reason Aguero couldn't go. Real and Atleti are massive rivals. The rivalry isn't as intense as the El Classico but its a huge rivalry.

Anyway thank god, overrated as fuck.

Yep. Nice little vacation in one of the most glorious cities in the world for huge wages for a year and then off to Real Madrid.

So , the russian guy is paying 60 millions for a player just to sell it a season later for, what is presumable, less money....that's BRILLIANT.

He can use it as a recruitment tool for the coming season. If players see that a name as big as Falcao is willing to go there, they can too.

Just like PSG. Lucas last season see's a bunch of big names go there and has the pick of just about every big club to choose from but opts for PSG because they paid him WAY more than he was worth.

I refuse to believe this shit. I mean, i really don't care if he doesn't sign for us at all; In fact, i believe, there's better options in the market....but come on, Monaco?, Really?, no European football at all. Such a loss of a great player. Falcao seemed like such a great profesional....

If you mean his short stint at Real Madrid, then no. It's okay to be ambitious and take your chances at the very highest level if the opportunity comes but for a player like Falcao who surely is good enough to start for any club on earth to join a newly promoted club like Monaco is a lame move and the majority of neutrals will be very disappointed to never see Falcao play for one of the best teams in the world and take part in the Champions League. If he goes to Monaco, there's no coming back. Even if he changed his mind, no one would want to buy him for 50m anymore and his wages will be too high for anyone.

Teams like Monaco should just stick to buying players who would be sure to improve their team but ones whose careers at the very top are soon coming to an end. Players like Samuel Eto'o for example. And I know a certain Fernando Torres, maybe Monaco would pay 25m for him too. ;)

Dude..... at the time Gravesen was one of the most saught after midfielders after the season he had at Everton. The move to Real ruined him. He should have stayed in Merseyside.

This forum is ridiculous. Falcao is world class striker. Period. Its up to our coach, formation and tactics if he will ever be world class striker here. Personaly I think he would be absolutely best striker in the world in Real Madrid. Used to league and real has top support.

Here is another question though...

Take away his finishing. Make it irrelevant for a second.

Someone name 1 attribute he has which is 'great' please. I may grow a full beard before someone can think of something.

Movement, absolutely top-notch. No matter how good a player's finishing is, he will rarely score if he always finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time or stands still like Torres.

That wasn't so hard now, was it? Tell me, what does your beard look like?

But what does he do with that movement exactly? Get himself into scoring positions - but I said to discount finishing, so in this respect it's useless.

He doesn't use that 'movement' like Drogba does; To drag away defenders and create space specifically for a teammate to take advantage of.

It would and will also be debated that his movement is as good as 'great'. He's like a ton of led stood still for most of the game until his teammates get into the final 3rd.
