The prices are always inflated i Jan because the clubs don't want to sell and the buyers are desperate and the window is too small so everything is rushed. In the summer, on the other hand, we can get a price which much lower than the 'alleged' buyout clause. We can't afford to spend beyond reason anymore, we have the FFP to worry about.

Well Falcao is clinical finisher, bit of dribbler, but that's it. He doesnt mark much or run back, and usualy loses the ball if he is marked and does not have space to shot quickly enough.

Its going to be gamble if we actualy buy him for 60m. The idea of having top class striker is one thing, but fact if he will actualy perform is another...

This may be up to interpretation but I've never senn Kaká as a midfielder, he has always been a foward in my books. A secondary striker back in his glory days at Milan.

Yes he always played more offensive, but with experience, he could rotatate in midfield too i guess. Also, Oscar, Mata and Hazard will need rest too and he could play there. If he would be on loan, why not, he realy plays well recently, should have more play time in RM...

Paying another 50 million for any player that is not Ronaldo or Messi is a huge gamble. I don't think Falcao is exactly what Chelsea needs, Neymar in my opinion would be a better fit to the style of play we've adopted. He is excellent on the ball, and has an eye for goal on top of that he's very young and could play for 12 or so more years at the highest level, if I was going to gamble another 50 million, I'd stick my bet with the Brazilian. Imagine a front four of Hazard, Oscar, Mata and Neymar!!!!!!!

I understand u, its like how germany prefer klose to gomez. But here in chelsea we need a goalscorer that will put the ball at the back of the net. Neymar misses a lot of chances, falcao will take them.

Realistically, anyone expecting the club to buy someone for £50m again in January will be very disappointed. As I've said before, I don't think we will get anyone significant in January.

and whats with the fact that he's not a pure striker, he's playing false 9/winger. theoretically its an option, and not a bad one because is a wonderful player, but its a very different step from buying Cavani or Falcao, and its a bigger gamble. alot bigger the way i see it.

anyway, I dont think we should even talk that much about Neymar, just doesnt seem posibble, dont know how people here stiil have hopes on him.
