Sorry what service did he get against AM? They sat deep, closed out the space to work in and defending brilliantly. Of course if just one of our pathetic crosses had actually hit a dangerous area maybe he would have scored.... Instead most sailed over the bar into the keepers arms or off for a throw in.

However Falcao is clearly in the form off his life, can Nandi match him? Probably not....

Sorry when did I even metion the Atleti game? I was talking about just one game, I was talking about their skills in general.

haha! you think im basing this on one game? I have been watching Falcao since his Porto days i just love watching him play, you can guarantee every-time Atletico are live on sky this season i will be watching! i agree we did make it easy for Falcao but he is an absolute beast and even if we were at our best he still most likely would have scored! he is the type of striker who is unplayable more often than not, he has everything. amazing movement, two footed, clinical finisher, great heading ability, capable of creating his own chances and scoring goals with just half chances. He can hold the ball up, beat players with ease, he can drop deep and link up with the midfielder as well as drifting out wide at times as well to create space for his team mates. No other striker comes near him!

He has scored 114 goals in 140 games since he has come to Europe! If Falcao had a team built around him with the type of quality players that Messi has around him then i think it would very possible for Falcao to score 50+ goals a season like Messi and Ronaldo! if Falcao does come to Chelsea and RDM decides to build the team around Falcao with players like Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Marin ect behind him i certainly wouldn't put it past him to get those kind of stats

but i know thats your thing when people start talking up a player your always their to get the attention you crave by saying he isn't that good ect. just like what you said about Hazard, how did that work out for you btw?

for one he wouldn't get into the Barcelona team, they are like Spain, don't play with a striker, CERTAINLY not a poacher. The only striker who gets in that team is David Villa, and the only reason why is because he could play as a creative centre mid, he's that much of a good player. Real Madrid he wouldn't score the goals Ronaldo does, Ronaldo is a much better player as he can do just about everything. Don't even go there comparing him to Ronaldo and Messi because he is not on their level.

Hazard still hasn't proved himself, last i checked it takes at least a full season to prove yourself, not three premier league games, save it till the end. And you said John Obi Mikel is good, how is that working out for you?.

As long as our team will not gel together and have motivation, no striker in world will be good enough to lead the line. There are quality players behind Torres, but not world class. You cant expect from Mata and Hazard to be same like Iniesta and Xavi or Ozil and pass all the way to Torres who will then score from goal line. Also we play in england and our style against defensive teams with fast counters is defeat before game started. Why? Because two things: our defence is so slow that cant return back in time (barca has much faster players to compare). Second; Torres is getting very slow, on our counters he is nowhere, even Iva gets faster to other side. And its not just problem with Torres speed, but also Awarness, Positioning, instinct. He lacks all that. We dont have bad team, but formation and their positioning is realy bad.

First of all I don't have a clue why you telling me about David Villa and whether Falcao would get into the barca team! No one is debating that, Falcao doesn't suit their style end of. And in terms of Real Madrid I watch them every week and the amount of good chances I see Benzema and Higiuan miss are ridiculous, and they are the same chances which Falcao puts away in his sleep! I'm very sure if Falcao played up front for Real Madrid he would score just as much maybe even more goals than Ronaldo in open play.

And as for Hazard your the one who judged him after a few games in pre-season saying he wasn't creative!!! Looool! After 3 games he proved you wrong and made you look stupid!

And as for Mikel you must have felt stupid last season when Mikel was putting in some outstanding performances during our F.A Cup and CL run and last week against Newcastle he put on a masterclass against your team especially for you! Loool!

I had a feeling this would turn into a Torres thread.

Serious question, is this a joke or is there a real possibility of this happening?

We're interested, no doubt, so of course theres a possibility that Falcao could sign for us. The 'pre-agreement' part of the article is pure bollocks though.

How do you know?

Of all teams that pursued Falcao Chelsea have always been number 1. Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern all have world class strikers. We have a somewhat re-emerging Torres that is still way behind Falcao. Chelsea have all the money and the prestige to attract him too. Of course we can't know but deciphering the situation does stand us out from the rest IMO.

Who do you prefer, Falcao (26, Feb 1986) for 48m or Cavani (25, Feb 1987) for about 35m?

I belive Falcao is better overall, but Cavani will be cheaper and is one year younger. With 50m we could buy a great DM + Cavani.

Falcao. No Brainer really, Cavani is overrated.
