MihaiM24 156
We don't really have great history with expensive former world class strikers with the issue probably being with the word "former"yeah I forgot to add the posibility he is going to flop like Torres (same knee injury after being world-class) but I still think Mourinho will reinvent him
termninja 5,290
If we are talking of 200k per week Falcao at Chelsea then we are not talking. But if we are talking of 80-100k per week striker who just a few seasons ago was one of the best number nines, then why the hell not? Besides Benteke I really don't see other available strikers to replace Drogba. He would also be a good company to Cuadrado. And don't give the youth talk here, Solanke, Brown and Bamford aren't ready for Chelsea yet and Falcao on loan here would actually help them since it's a loan not a transfer. Better to see them on loan and return next season then to see them SIT on the bench through the upcoming season.
Parky 739
An ageing player coming back from major knee injury with an abysmal season at Man Utd. Why the fuk would we want him here with his huge wages? I see Torres v2.0 all over this! Dont get me wrong when he was at his peak he was arguably the deadliest finisher in the game but it would be a fatal error to sign him at present.I'd rather we have Costa, Remy and a young rough diamond as a 3rd option.. nadavTKL 1,787
He probably wants another chance at the top level. For his condition the best thing is to go to some place like AC Milan and play all the time, but if the reports are true he probably wants CL football (never had it), and he believe he can go back to his best.We wouldnt buy him obviously, if we even want him it will be on a basis of a loan. I dont think we need to buy a 3rd striker but a loan of Falcao on lower wages? i wouldnt say no to that. Its Falcao.

He was even playing against us in the group stage.

Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
We don't live in a dream world where the top strikers have no trouble with sitting on the bench where other top players play match after match. Falcao is not done, he is still recovering from injury. Most often when you have an injury like that it takes a year and a half to fully recover... that's what the doctors say anyways. If we sign him on loan or for a nominal fee and he's not on ridiculous wages we could have the coup of the decade on our hands. I like the fact he allegedly wants to be at Chelsea for a pay cut and also that he is proven at the top level. My preference is without a doubt for Benteke but I don't know if he fancies coming here to fight for a shirt. If he goes to Utd he walks right into their XI and into the champions league.

I posted both here and a different forum that with Drogba going, and Falcao and Mourinho being clients of Mendes I wouldn't be the slightest surprised to see us either a) sign him on loan with view to buy on reduced wages or b ) sign him outright on reduced wagesHe supposedly is willing to take a pay cut, so take advantage of it, we may aswell. I don't think it was all down to injury at Utd, I don't think their style of play suited him, and I have never been convinced LVG liked him, or even that he was a LVG choice

They have nothing to do with him now. We have to negotiate with AS Monaco.
Polo7 3,496
He could be a good second choice. Dont think he got enough of a chance at United. Also dont think their football suited him. Worth a risk for one year.

CHOULO19 24,332
How the fuck is Falcao still a thing?! I guess I should not be surprised that he still has his fans when even Torres still had his right to the end of his Chelsea career..
