Rmpr 8,977
The prices are always inflated i Jan because the clubs don't want to sell and the buyers are desperate and the window is too small so everything is rushed. In the summer, on the other hand, we can get a price which much lower than the 'alleged' buyout clause. We can't afford to spend beyond reason anymore, we have the FFP to worry about.Wrong, that does not apply to Falcao. He will be sold for the buy-out clause (it is true, not supposed), now or in the summer. There is just too much competition (PSG, ManCity, etc) and we all know how Roman is.I am not saying he will come, but it is realistic! He just scored againt Romania How is that possible? He will play today against Brazil...
meetdoscar 335
Cavani is only a year younger than Falcao, makes absolutely no difference. Hoping for either one, kind of hoping more for Cavani myself though.Rightly so.

BlueLyon 9,359
Just watching Brazil Colombia friendly Oscar, Neymar, Kaka, James,..so many reasons to watch the game...Kaka would be very good loan to fill missing DPL/CMIs it just me, or Luiz actualy plays completely different for Brazil? His positioning is so much better, he sticks in defence without those stupid forward runs and makes simple passes...Why the fuck is he not doing this here?James Rodriguez is realy a jewel, while Falcao (so far) is having bad game again...a bit frustrating like Torres (wanks with the ball too much)

BlueLyon 9,359
Well Falcao is clinical finisher, bit of dribbler, but that's it. He doesnt mark much or run back, and usualy loses the ball if he is marked and does not have space to shot quickly enough. Its going to be gamble if we actualy buy him for 60m. The idea of having top class striker is one thing, but fact if he will actualy perform is another...
Spike 12,049
Kaka would be very good loan to fill missing DPL/CMThis may be up to interpretation but I've never senn Kaká as a midfielder, he has always been a foward in my books. A secondary striker back in his glory days at Milan.

A secondary striker back in his glory days at Milan.Yes he always played more offensive, but with experience, he could rotatate in midfield too i guess. Also, Oscar, Mata and Hazard will need rest too and he could play there. If he would be on loan, why not, he realy plays well recently, should have more play time in RM... Sheva. 5,373
When he isn't having a good game, there's almost no difference between him and Torres. But those days are not very common like they are for our no. 9.
BlueJewel 56
Paying another 50 million for any player that is not Ronaldo or Messi is a huge gamble. I don't think Falcao is exactly what Chelsea needs, Neymar in my opinion would be a better fit to the style of play we've adopted. He is excellent on the ball, and has an eye for goal on top of that he's very young and could play for 12 or so more years at the highest level, if I was going to gamble another 50 million, I'd stick my bet with the Brazilian. Imagine a front four of Hazard, Oscar, Mata and Neymar!!!!!!!

But here in chelsea we need a goalscorer that will put the ball at the back of the net. Neymar misses a lot of chances, falcao will take them. Muzchap 8,966
Hmm the curse of CFC - seriously, ANY world class Striker linked to us suddenly turns shit...How about we sign Darren Bent - he's shit so reverse logic dictates he will be amazing for us
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
The more I think about it, the more my head tells me Neymar or Cavani would be (much) better for us due to our play style. Of course I will go crazy if we get Falcao but I wouldn't at all be disapointed with Cavani. As for Neymar...Well he's Neymar, the next big thing...Nuff said. Realistically, anyone expecting the club to buy someone for £50m again in January will be very disappointed. As I've said before, I don't think we will get anyone significant in January. Beirut_Blues 306
We as a club are 255 million in profit this year, i dont think we have to worry about FFP in january, unless you want to spend 300million+255Mn profit? I don't think so mate..More like 1.5 Mn or something. But ya we're on the safe side of FFP.

nadavTKL 1,787
As for Neymar...Well he's Neymar, the next big thing...Nuff said.Dont think its a "Nuff said"... Whats with the fact that he's unproven in Europe and we need a striker to score lots of goals ASAP?and whats with the fact that he's not a pure striker, he's playing false 9/winger. theoretically its an option, and not a bad one because is a wonderful player, but its a very different step from buying Cavani or Falcao, and its a bigger gamble. alot bigger the way i see it.anyway, I dont think we should even talk that much about Neymar, just doesnt seem posibble, dont know how people here stiil have hopes on him. BlueLyon 9,359
neymar was fantastic yesterday, comparing to Falcao who was invisible more or less. Neymar goes back down the middle of field to get the ball back and then runs back to goal. All game. Extremly versatile. However he falls down a lot. Realy annoying...And to play with Neymar, I think you also need an actual striker along him (in Brazil its either Damiao or Pato). He never realy plays as only striker.
