MihaiM24 156
He's finished. If Mourinho wants to take a gamble on the striker position, he should promote someone from the youth team.remember people slating Costa after his world cup performance? chrismada9 1,948
Am I the only one here who isn't favouring this move at all??Falcao is not a player who will just fill Drogba's boots and be a bit-parter, he will actually want to be first choice.. we already have Costa, who got 20 goals last season, so why are we wasting money getting this guy? is it because we don't want Liverpool to sign him?Sorry for sounding negative, some people might see my thoughts as complete garbage, but I guess it's up to Mourinho.. if he reckons he can keep both Costa and Falcao happy at the club, and the club can keep within FFP regulations with this move, then by all means it's fine by me! I just don't want to see our club struggling to follow UEFA's guidelines..I still think Lacazette is a better option to try and sign, rather than Falcao. I just don't want to see our club struggling to follow UEFA's guidelines..I still think Lacazette is a better option to try and sign, rather than Falcao. It's your opinion, no need to be apologetic. With Falcao you have some what of a blank canvas, he never really hit it off at United and people have also seen exactly what he can do on form. So from Jose's point of view it fits perfectly to bring him in,not only that but Falcao knows himself he won't be first choice, but at the same time knowing if he can rediscover the Falcao of old under the guidance of JM we have a gem of a signing/loan that works perfectly for both parties. We can offer him everything....The best manager in the world, a club that is constantly fighting for trophies and a great base to build upon knowing his arrival wont be massively pressure related as he won't be coming as the main man. Of course there is a risk to any new signing, but from our stand point we fetch in a top striker without paying mental amounts and at the same time adding the quality to the depth of squad. oldportblue 547
Lol I honestly don't know why any sane Chelsea fan would justify this transfer. I can't even believe it's happening.lol says the guy with sehva as his avatar...
Viper22 2,418
Getting more and more into the idea of this signing. Quite excited tbh.Signing Falcao on a free loan as a backup striker as our first transfer of the window really is a signal of intent to the rest of the PL!!!
