nyikolajevics 2,698
James Harden is probably the laziest defender in the NBA. Bit harsh on Ashley considering he's still capable of being solid.I meant his beard The only place to be
Jase 43,479
Never quite understood his victim complex. There's not been an English footballer in the last 20 years who has been quite so unanimously viewed as world-class as he has, yet he thinks people want him to fail?? Bizarre. That is true but I don't think the media and fans have always gave an easy time just because of his off the field antics for instance and then perhaps they are also quick to write him off just because he hasn't been playing much and all that. LDN Blue 7,903
Never quite understood his victim complex. There's not been an English footballer in the last 20 years who has been quite so unanimously viewed as world-class as he has, yet he thinks people want him to fail?? Bizarre.Has grown quite tiresome now. Even Arsenal fans will acknowledge he was world-class and the best in the world despite his departure. Sure he never get standing ovations and all, but for a man who proclaims he never cared if he did or not.. He certainly doesn't convince anyone of that. His autobiography didn't help his cause on becoming 'the victim' either lol The only place to be
Gilvorak 3,734
He better go to the World Cup. Leaves Baines at home and take his successor Shaw instead.

The only place to be 11,313
Schurrle didn't get many chances for a while, Bertrand got shipped out and Ashley got the naughty step for a while. Think Ashton is wrong about Azpi's emergence though because he's been arguably the best left-back in the league this season.Cole should've known better though. But his day as the best left back in the world is over.

Gilvorak 3,734
Only stat geeks rate Baines highly.Funniest thing is non-Chelsea fans actually want Cole to go the WC ahead of Baines. Not even going to bother responding to some of these posts.Ashley Cole is one of the best left backs ever I'd rather go to war with him than a player who's only rated highly because he's good at taking set pieces. Next you guys will be telling me Rafinha is World Class.
bababoom 4,478
Only stat geeks rate Baines highly. You clearly don't watch Everton enough, Baines has been one of the best LB's in the PL for the past two seasons... Funniest thing is non-Chelsea fans actually want Cole to go the WC ahead of Baines. Not even going to bother responding to some of these posts. So every non-Chelsea fan wants Cole to go to the world cup? fucking hell mate, you've lost it. Ashley Cole is one of the best left backs ever I'd rather go to war with him than a player who's only rated highly because he's good at taking set pieces. Next you guys will be telling me Rafinha is World Class.Ashley Cole was* one of the best Left backs, not anymore. Yes, Baines is only rated highly because of his set pieces... haha if that was the case Ian Harte would be one of the best LBs ever. You're embarrassing yourself mate. Jase 43,479
Apart from Hazard's own part of the mistake for Atletico's first goal, Cole was pretty poor on his part too. Not sure why he had to go towards the ball and left his area vacated from Juanfran to get into. Had Azpi started at LB to begin with, don't think that goal would have happened. Azpi at LB would've been the more sensible option. But it was too late by the time he switched.
