Gutted about this, I really rated Luis and can't help but feel it was a move that was never going to fit hand in glove. For him to displace Azpi was going to be massively difficult when your one of the most consistent defenders in Europe, not only that but Luis is too good for the bench.

Big disappointment seeing him go to be honest. Think he was an outstanding left back for a few seasons before especially the year when Atletico won the league and he was also good here in spells as well just not a regular starter. Hopefully he goes on to have a successful career again with Atletico but a bit gutted it didn't work as hes a top player.

Tbf Ivanovic and Dave didn't do too badly, this is like Di Maria leaving Real because they have other stars in similar positions albeit less significant.
