He won't play anymore for the time being as in Conte's eyes he isn't committed anymore. He should apologize to Conte and the staff and give his all for the team and in return the club let him leave in the summer.
But no he's being a selfish cunt like last year.

Starting to see why so many non-Chelsea fans hate him. He could've kept his mouth shut and work and ignore the idiotic Chinese interest 'till the end of the season but noooooo...there needs to be any fucking drama.

What games are you watching? His link up play with Hazard has been one of our Bright spots this year. He's single handily won use 4-5 games this year. Compare that to Hazard's poor finishing, ridiculously poor crossing and not to mention his lack of tracking back, and Costa is better.

What games are you watching? His link up play with Hazard has been one of our Bright spots this year. He's single handily won use 4-5 games this year. Compare that to Hazard's poor finishing, ridiculously poor crossing and not to mention his lack of tracking back, and Costa is better.

He can't hold the ball yes but he has other pros which make him a great striker... we need him. Conte needs him. But he is so selfish at the moment. It's frustrating as it could jeopardize our title hopes.

True. I don't care if he scores 20 goals the rest of the season and suddenly wants to stay for the long term. 

This episode has been so frustrating that I'm willing to sell him. Maybe bring in Morata and James in the summer with the Costa money.

Of course, I'm not claiming he's the perfect striker. But he's definitely been been the best striker this year. Maybe player of the season.

unlike the last 2 seasons? in 2014/2015, he had 20 goals in 26 premier league appearances lollll And a nothing player without his goals? DUHHHH he's a striker FFS! And on top of 14 goals in 18 games this season, he has 5 assists, that's pretty damn good for a nothing player... you're so clueless its laughable

In 2014/2015 he could have score more goals it took him 5 chances to score one goal and a world class st has to have great overral play.

I think they will sit down and come to a handshake agreement. Diego will apologize and behave the rest of the year, help us win the league then in the summer IF china is real he will go there and get paid. Its a win across the board. Diego gets more money than he can count, we get a HUGE transfer fee for a 29 yr old striker with injury issues who doesnt even want to be here. and Conte is a PL title winning coach in his first year, with 140 Millions pounds from Chinese sales PLUS however much Roman wants to spend on top of that. He can go on a shopping spree in the summer and build the juggernaut he wants to.

Remember how great we were when we had Torres and  Ba with their great hold up play? A striker has 3 responsibilities, each weighted differently: 85% is to create goals (especially on a countering team like us) and Diego has been the most Clinical #9 in Europe all year. 10% is probably hold up play and he's been average at this. But for some reason you seem to think this is the most important job a striker has. 

The other 5% is defending set pieces.
