Special Juan 28,141
Fabulous footballer, not only that but young lads can learn a lot from his words.
!Hazard! 3,394
How the hell is he only 30 years old. Just like with Rooney it feels like this lad has been playing football at the highest level for a century.

El P. 1,354
As soon as he went into THAT situation after Kenedy's pass, I knew he will try to do something smart. If it was Willian, Bakayoko, Moses, Alonso or Pedro in his place I wouldn't bat an eye. Was really exciting. On the other side, I think his (long) passing regressed a bit. He often misses his targets, and don't give me that "he always tries to do something risky and unexpected so of course he misses". I think Eriksen and KDB might be actually better than him at that. yuvala

I know, it just doesn't happen very often... Pirlo, Xabi, Xavi, they've all kept their passing ability level until middle 30's, and Cesc is already on downward spiral. Or maybe he was always like that and we overrated him a bit? Don't know...

Dont think we overrated him.. I'm still not 100% convinced that his abillity is in a CONSTANT decrease though. Maybe its just a matter of form.. or maybe he's not as good as he was two years ago but his current level is going to stay the same for the next few years. Unionjack 7,531
Love seeing Cescy on form. If hes got 2 other lads with him he can work wonders. If we had a replacement for Cahill on the Left like what Dave/Andreas are doing and kept Alonso/Moses in form that would give us 6 amazing passers to feed our top 3. give them the freedom to swap about like they do now (with a couple of upgrades) and we would make a proper run at whatever we did. Unionjack 7,531
Should have started today. They forced us wide and there wasn't anyone tall enough to get on the crosses as we missed old rubber neck Morata. Cescy is a great tachticianer and we nreded to find routes thru them. I had a severe mancrush on him when he was at Highbury. I'd go to the cold north to see him if we was aay somewhere not worth going. He was amazing. But tho hes never been the fastest or defensive minded hes holding the ball too long looking for that exact thru ball too long and hes getting robbed. Hes still our most creative player IMHO and it hurts me to say it but its time to look for a upgrade. Thing is that we have cried out for a proper good goal scoring B2B with a built in GPS and they are like rocking horse shit I would gladly sell ny soul to the devil to get a young Lamps!! Special Juan 28,141
The problem with him right now is he relies on movement around him, the lack of it especially from Morata is horrendous. There is only so many times you will catch teams out with the same ball over the top time and time again. Moses last night, he kept trying to run on the outside of Maitlan-Niles and he simply wasn't quick enough. Unionjack

Tbh Moses created our most dangerous situations yesterday, at least a few of his shots reached the post/goalkeeper/sidenetting. Crossing was poor as always of course. Â Yeah without Willian/Pedro we depend on Drinkwater/Bakayoko runs and they stopped doing them some time ago
Jase 43,479
Is there any point of Fabregas these days? His performances this season have proven why Conte didn't trust him to begin with last season.
