(Mikel, Ramires and now Matic) This is precisely what we needed. I've been saying forever now that Chelsea's biggest problem is not having the right combination of holding mids. With Matic and Ramires that has definitely been answered. We have more than enough attacking prowess, we needed more ball winners and solidity in the back. Matic makes our midfield EXTREMELY formidable. Matic - RamiresWillian - Oscar - HazardMatic - Mikel - Ramires Schurrle - HazardI can go on and on with combinations... In my opinion it was just too small in size for a pivot which mourinho agrees.Now with matic, he has both the size of mikel and the workrate of ramires combined.This makes it easy to buy a ball passing CM like modric beside him.
