LAM09 7,077
Shame to see him get sacked, but it was inevitable with him being at RM. I guess he'll either go on a break, or go back to Milan.
magic weeds 446
Second season syndrome. Works wonders during 1st season, then gets sacked the next season. Chelsea and now Real. Real gentleman btw.

With all due respect, he was 2 minutes away from being sacked last season, so with this year trophyless this was expected.

CHOULO19 24,332
Ok Choulo I will admit you might be correct on your assessment of Don Carlo - I guess he is having back surgery & wants to take a year off, but I am sure Galliani will provide some sort of stimulus to Don Carlo as an incentive to get him to return to Milan.Tbh it's not my assessment, it's just what all the Italian papers were saying this morning and that he is set to turn Galliani and Milan down. Not sure if Galliani has a trick up his sleeve, though.

Jase 43,479
Real Madrid will soon run out of top class managers to manage the club, if not already. It's ridiculous how they keep on sacking people the minute they end a season without a major trophy.
Jase 43,479
Berlusconi has a way of manipulating people - btw Florintino Perez has a press conference this afternoon & like I posted previously, Adriano Galliani has traveled to Madrid to speak w/ Don Carlo. Berlusconi has already gone on record stating he wants Don Carlo back @ Milan.Tbh it's not my assessment, it's just what all the Italian papers were saying this morning and that he is set to turn Galliani and Milan down. Not sure if Galliani has a trick up his sleeve, though. If the Roma job becomes available in 2016, then he might just go there instead. He has mentioned on a few occasions that he want to manage Roma in his career.

nadavTKL 1,787
I dont rate Carlo highly at all, but Benitez is going to be horrible in Real. He'll be sacked till February. Add that to the huge support Carlo gof from all Real players in the last few days, and it looks even worse. If Perez announced today that he's keeping him there was a great positive vibe about Real and the manager next season, real backing from fans and players, at least until the next failure. Thats what Real Madrid want. No trophy you are gone. Same with Chelsea. Unlike other teams like Arsenal and Liverpool that are content with 4th place.Mourinho wins Copa Del Rey in first season, La Liga in second season. Nothing in third season, he is sacked. No trophies, no work. thats the Madrid way.
