Hard to even pinpoint one. For starters, the never-say-die/resiliency in the team? We've had quite a lot of strong and committed characters at the club.

I think you know where this is leading. All that is now gone now and Chelsea are now the equivalent of Milwall, essentially all the things you love about the club are replaced by everything you hate about Millwall or whichever club you can't stand. Hard to fathom but not impossible...

What I'm saying is it would take a hell of a lot for me not to support Chelsea but that's because the club represents me and always has since I started back in 1999-2000. If something happens at the club where I can't accept it as something I can support then I won't support it. I don't think that is unreasonable nor do I think that makes me or my friend a glory hunter. He left because the club he loved no longer spoke to what he wants in a club, I have no problem with that at all.

It was an extremely low point for me. The only real saving grace was Frank's game at Villa Park.

That and winning the el.

It was about as nice as winning the carling cup this season and seeing Mourinho celebrate like crazy.

While both competitions are of low level for a club like Chelsea, it was still nice to see.

Ancelottis league record isn't very good considering the teams he has had.

Personally I wouldn't be too fussed if he went to City.

He's won several league titles but it's only 4 in 20 years of management (heck, even Avram Grant has more league titles than him!). Granted, he didn't stay long here and at PSG but he only managed 1 in 8 years at Milan and he had one of the best Milan sides ever. The problem with Ancelotti is that he doesn't quite know how to handle the pressure when the going gets tough in the league run-in. He nearly blew it with us in 09/10 and blew it with PSG in 11/12. Not to mention, he let the title slipped last season at Madrid and looks to be doing the same again this time around.

Hmm .. Fair enough .. Point taken!

Not to mention...he's not really a glory hunter trading chelsea for west ham now is he?

Each to their own. :)

To say the League Cup is a low level competition is unfair, to put it kindly. It's very similar to the FA Cup (in terms of the football leagues sides competing in it) and the only difference is that the League Cup doesn't have the prestige and long history to go with it.

Winning the Carling Cup was basically a result of winning a lot. Winning the Europa League was a result of losing unexpectedly... While it was okay that we didn't go trophy-less, I thought 2012-13 was an extreme low point for my Chelsea. The pure elation I got from winning the champions league the season before(which would've contented me till this year) was erased with the FSW coming in and RDM's dismissal. Just me I guess....

Was you.

Carling Cup and EL are trophies that are of low standard for a team like Chelsea.

But winning it is still good enough for me.

Looking like AC Milan is trying to sway Don Carlo to return to the Rossoneri. Now Galliani is traveling to Madrid to speak w/ Don Carlo.

I don't think it's just a coincidence with the sacking of Don Carlo for Benitez rumors got released last week. This is the work of Berlusconi, that evil genius

A return to Milan is unlikely. I think he'll take a year off.

Berlusconi has a way of manipulating people - btw Florintino Perez has a press conference this afternoon & like I posted previously, Adriano Galliani has traveled to Madrid to speak w/ Don Carlo. Berlusconi has already gone on record stating he wants Don Carlo back @ Milan.

Ok Choulo I will admit you might be correct on your assessment of Don Carlo - I guess he is having back surgery & wants to take a year off, but I am sure Galliani will provide some sort of stimulus to Don Carlo as an incentive to get him to return to Milan.
