Many congrats to the youth team for winning back to back European Trophies, and also Viveash and the rest of the staff who work day in and day out with the lads. I'm really glad and proud of the boys, for the big character, passion, desire, work ethic and maturity they have and they are showing everyone at the club and around the world, specially the senior team at Chelsea how it's done. This group of young lads, no, let me rephrase that, group of men, deserve all the praise they get ;) and may they achieve a lot more together and grow up to be great players even if it is at Chelsea or not. I prefer they make it to the senior team and show they deserve a chance, at least they will give their blood for the club, unlike some of the lot we have. Cheers

On a side note, we can at least say we beat PSG this season and have a trophy to show for it, take that PSG!!!, don't mistake the youth team with the senior team. Cheers and KTBFFH ;)

This is bullshit:  Chelsea are the title holders after winning the previous two editions. However, since the UEFA Youth League title holders do not get an automatic qualifying place, and both the Chelsea senior team failed to qualify for the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League and the Chelsea academy team failed to win the 2015–16 Professional U18 Development League 1, they are unable to participate in this tournament to defend their title. Fuck off UEFA

Our U19’s scraped past a very good Porto side in their UEFA Youth League semi-final played in Nyon this afternoon. The lads have therefore reached the final of this competition for a third time in four years. The tie was settled by three decisive penalty saves from keeper Jamie Cumming after a late Blues equaliser forced spot kicks.

Porto held a deserved 2-1 lead with time winding down. The  Portuguese side will feel hard done by, and Joe Edwards will feel that his team can, and must, play better in Monday’s final against Barcelona. Barça outlasted Manchester City to win a thrilling match 5-4. This despite leading 5-2 at half time against a Citizens side which had been reduced to 10 men after half an hour. Barcelona’s keeper needed to make three good stops late on to stave off a great fight back by the City kids.

Lost to Barca 3:0...

Well in a way, I think its a good that we lost. Kids will learn money isnt all and the loss will be good experience. Its important that not everything is perfect in their world, they need to work harder and keep improving if they want to become great.

cheer up lads, it was bound to happen at some point, cant win them all, its not the end of the world, it hurts to lose but Barca's youth set up is one of the best in the world, 3 final UYL appearances for Chelsea, 2 wins and a loss, the academy is doing wonders for these kids, they will need to learn from it and bounce back, a defeat here is a wake up call. Cheers
