didierforever 7,349
Crazy to believe not all players who get injured are injury prone. There is a middle ground.whats the middle ground? how do you define it? i have explained my point of view before and i will do it again. football is a contact sport and tackles will be made. bad and horrible tackles. i mean look at the one bardsley made on hazard. or the sandwich that shawcross and cameroon made of costa. but yet, for geniuses like ryandavidson, its "bullshit" to even suggest that players like mvg are injury prone. i do understand your point of view that of injury prone in the conventional sense, but to totally ignore injuries which happen thru the fault of other players just does not make sense to me. infact there is more chances of player getting injured thru contact and tackles than in training or pulling a hamstring or something. iseah100

CHOULO19 24,332
Reports in Italy that Milan might end his loan. Anyone else would like to see him given a PL loan if that proves correct? Surely he can be a nailed on starter for teams like Burnley or Leicester?!
Thendo 1,088
He is still injured? Can't we just recall him and let him recover with our medical staff and maybe give him some minutes when he's fit again? Seemed promising whenever I've watched him play. Seemed promising whenever I've watched him play.I hope that's what happens if Milan want to end the loan... we have a great medical department and he may end up being useful towards the end of the season. When he's fit I like him better than every pivot option we have in the bench. Key word though is 'fit'. Loan back to Vitesse? CHOULO19 24,332
ExaggerationIs it? If he stays here, he is NOT getting any playing time, let's not kid ourselves. He's not getting in the team for any of the remaining match of the season ahead of Mikel or Rami, let alone Matic or Cesc, unless we win the league with a couple of matches to spare, and even then, id I'm honest, I'd rather we play Ake who has earned his place with the first team. And that in turn means that he will either leave or have to go on loan again next season and try to impress again because we simply will not go into the season relying on a player who has played almost zero football for two seasons. I have to agree with WHS, I think his chances of making it here are getting slimmer by the day.

If he has quality enough and is able to keep himself injury free coming next season, he'll have a chance. The part I think you exaggerated is saying that if he comes here and doesn't play his career here is over.I know Ake has earned something, but don't forget football clubs are companies and as such they have to see that all their assets go up. I think Marco is a better player as it stands (not talking about ceiling, talent, etc, just comparing currently both players and Marco's experience), but even supposing they're on the same level now, the club will try to make money from him if he isn't good enough for us to keep him, which means they'll treat his career better than just letting him rot and let it go. I think it's too early to say he'll never make it here, although I agree his chances are getting smaller.

Of course the club will be looking to increase his value, but the priority remains to win the next match which means putting out the best team available. I doubt even Ake will be playing more than 3 or 4 matches for the remainder of the season. This is actually why I am certain we will loan him out if he returns.Things can change incredibly quick in football. A PL club shows interest, he goes there and nails down a starting spot and he's suddenly in serious contention to get a squad player role here next season. Magic Lamps 11,692
had a promising first half for milan vs lazio today. Very combative. Switched off for tactical reasons after they conceded 2 goals in 4 mins.
