mediator 2,026
Eden earns 135,000 euros that are 110,000 £ a week reported by belgian newspapers
Stats 7,147
No way Hazard is on that muchHe is I think because we were desperate to beat off competition to sign him so we offered him a huge salary. A dream to earn that much at his age, good that there is no reports of unrest in the club over the players wages. Also, the loan players as well, Lukaku is on around £40k plus I believe. While Chalobah is on around £15k.
mediator 2,026
Not really, Man u, Man city and even Arsenal agreed the pay Eden's wages. The problem was the huge amount that asked his agent (the same of Yaya Touré, he is the cunt in that transfer saga)
Jase 43,479
For the 143 546 869th time, this!! Lol Hazard is not on £185k.French and Belgian media reported he makes £110k.
bushman 2,043
I too doubt his salary would be that high.Regardless, they are making way too much.

BlueLyon 9,359
I find Iva on less than 30k funny, also Mata deserves more, but there are many that doesnt deserve so much (Torres, Hazard(yet),...)

DJames 729
I should have been a footballer This is how the world works....no one is ever compensated what they should be in relation to the amount of work they do. Some are paid more than others. Unfair....yes. Moaning about it going to change it....not in our lifetimes if ever. Thomas Williams 166
I have no problem with football salaries, it's what they're "worth" because we're willing to pay so much for tickets, jerseys, etc. These Chelsea players provide me and the rest of the millions of fans so much entertainment that it makes sense they're paid that much. Yeah, their job may not seem like it deserves that kind of pay (they're doing something a lot of people do for fun) but that's just how it works. Santiago. 1,500
Has Torres repaid the 50 mill with shirt sales at all?

The players are top professionals and are making the most of their talent. But salaries matter now more than ever with regards to Financial Fair Play. It's a disaster to have somebody like Torres 'earning' 10m a season.
MHL 47 378
It's a disaster to have somebody like Torres 'earning' 10m a season. The disaster isn't having a top player earning a top salary, the disaster is having ordinary players such as Yossi Benayoun earning £90+ grand a week, Steve Sidwell on £60+ grand, Ben Haim on the same. If you want the best you pay top money, the key there is picking top quality because the level of investment over the contract period is so high. We've bought previously outstanding players past their prime, if Torres was banging in 25 goals a season we'd not mention his salary. No one moans about Mata's salary, if I were him I'd be moaning my balls off at being paid over a million quid a year less than Benayoun
