Fernando Torres

Remy >>>>>>> Torres. Remy is similar to Torres but he actually scores, and actually still has pace.

You both can quote me on this too: he won't!

That's exactly my point - he's too reliant on pace for a team that pressures like Chelsea.

If that's the player we wanted, we should've kept Lukaku.

there is no other option available anymore. maybe destro, but he is costing twice as much as remy or even more.

If Lukaku wanted to stay i believe we would've kept him, but he wanted to be 1st choice.

But Lukaku didn't want to stay so that's sort of irrelevant... And £28.5m for Lukaku? You'd have to take that offer. Remy will come for a mere what? £8.5m? One of his main weapons is his pace but I don't see how that's a bad thing?

We'll have a very diverse strikeforce. A complete striker in Costa, a pace merchant/poacher in Remy and a target man in Drogba.

Costa, Remy, Drogba. Yes please.

Not a fan of Remy.

Just a cheaper Fernando Torres - just as inadequate.

Nah mate, Remy is actually good, i said before i would rather Destro but Remy is still quality imo.

Remy

12/13 QPR - 14 apps 6 goals

13/14 Newcastle - 26 apps 14 goals

Torres

12/13 - 36 apps 8 goals

13/14 - 28 apps 5 goals

14 goals in 26 games last year isn't bad. Good technical ability and cheap. He'd be a very good 2nd striker option.

Also remember Newcastle had a terrible second half to the season, he was basically carrying them at times.
