I honestly believe it's very little time to convince Liverpool to sell one of their prized assets, which is why I feel this transfer won't happen. At the end of the day, Liverpool have just signed Luis Suarez, and he stated earlier that he would snub them if Torres wasn't there. He'd look a fool if he just signed, and Torres left.

Spanish TV news (TVE which is equivalent of BBC1) reported it as a done deal which will be rubber stamped tomorrow about 45 minutes ago. The price they gave was "somewhere over 50 million euros". Don't shoot the messenger just relaying what I just saw on TV. It is also all over Marca (which I know is not a reliable source), but they do get things right more often than not and their journalists are all in bed with the top Spanish agents.
