DYC. 7,542 Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Hope this doesn't go through.Torres has been slightly above average at best ever since the 09/10 season, showing glimpses of his class from time to time, and there's no way anyone can be sure he can become the old Torres again. Not to forget the fact that he's super injury-prone. 35 mil pounds is a lot(!) of money, too much of a risk if you ask me. The club should've gone for Dzeko if they were looking for a striker. Funny reading the early posts of this topic lol, from impossible to possible in 3 seasons I reckon £50m would do it, seriously. Not been great or fully fit in the last half a year or so but he's just 26 years old and he is pure class. He's got 5 good years left, and he can play UCL. People saying they don't want him are just mad lol. Pace, shooting, heading, tap-ins, 25 yard belters, aggression, scores in big games always... Sign him up.
