  1. 1. Rafa Out?

Recommended Posts

Benitez has confirmed there will be no more incoming transfers for Chelsea this January.

F*CK OFF!

Not defending Benitez as a manager. But I don't think he really has a say in the pursuit of transfers. The decision not to spend anymore probably comes from higher up.

On the topic of Benitez in or out. Out sounds great and all, but who do we get in? Is there anybody who's actually available? And at the moment any good managers would be crazy to leave their current teams to manage us.

No need to express the feelings towards him, we all hate that fucker, and his confirmation of no incoming transfers confirms what a shitty and forgettable season this has become, so where do we go from here? Do we pray and stay positive and have faith in a turn-around/securing 3rd/4th place or do we stay pessimistic and fear the worst? I prefer of course the former even though it's harsh times right now but we must hold on and unconditionally support the team both home and away in all the upcoming matches. May can't come soon enough when that fat fuck finally fucks off.

In a way, this decision not to spend is encouraging. It suggests that the club are trying to save money to spend in the summer when we've hopefully got someone else in. I don't particularly trust Rafa to be involved in transfers and I really don't want him to be if I'm honest, plus I'm not sure if there's much value in the market.

We're stuck with him until summer (although I'd have more trust in Stevie Holland going forward) unless Jose gets sacked before then and we can get him in.

Just look forward to that day when the fat cunt leaves this club.

One less problem is better than one more problem.

This is where you are very wrong. Having a team without a manager is way worse than having Benitez. He doesn't exactly have much to work with and every mistake he makes is noted and even mistakes he doesn't make are noted. It's really difficult to express yourself freely in this forum, unless you agree with the knee jerk posters. Kylehimself made great points and is being shot down, typical. No wonder even admins and mods don't post anymore.

He's not being shot down. He makes a valid point about who should we get in, but there's a great felling amongst fans that they simply don't want the fat cunt in charge. It doesn't feel like our club at the moment and that's got a lot to do with him being in charge.

Getting him out of the club would change that.

Getting someone out of the club is what Chelsea has been doing for some years now. As tough as it is, keeping Benitez till the summer is our only option. Like you mentioned, not spending more during this window can be a good thing - leaving ,hopefully, more funds to our new (more permanent?) manager with FFP and so on kicking in.

I don't think so. Benitez is getting the stick for what he's doing wrong, and it's justified (unless you take those serious who believe he's at fault for everything...). Stike pointed the things out Benitez has to be blamed for already.

Personal feelings aside.

-Rafa takes too long to make a change

-Daft changes like Azpilicueta for Ivanovic in CWC Final, Luiz for Ivan in COC semis which barely affect the way we play

-Rigid

on tactics. Never changes tactics for a game or over the course of a

game.(Exception - Started 4-3-3 vs Everton before reverting back after

getting ambushed early on)

-Only 1 signing in January. Board and Rafa must share the blame if that is indeed the case

-Bertrand on the Left Wing..again

-Fernando Torres

- Rotation policy? More like Preference policy

IMO it was the wrong decision in the first place to appoint Benitez, someone who is the complete opposite of a fan-favourite and who made a mess during his last spell at a top-club. Benitez has been constantly making the same mistakes since he took over and guess what, he's been a fuckup compared to the manager before him, stats-wise and playing style-wise. Lack of depth is one problem we are facing but having an incompetent manager is another one, a bigger one in all honesty. And the sooner we solve one of them, the better.

Hiring him is a mistake that has already been made, nothing we can do other than damage control. Surely sacking a manager will not help it. He can't affect the transfers, his options to rotate are scarce. We have no leader in the team, very young squad who don't have enough experienced player around them to help them and lift them. We have been missing spine this season, be it in the finals or any other match where we just lack quality. Nothing to do with not having chances, players just don't turn up. Older players are more concerned about cementing their name in Chelsea folklore but that does not mean much to the club at this present moment.

Regarding people blaming everything on Rafa is actually very accurate with the exception that another obvious target is Torres, 2 very popular scapegoats to bring up in the heat of the moment. Though I think Torres should be sold and Benitez has no future in this club, I try to be unbiased and realistic. If people really believe that getting rid of them two just like that will fix our problems then that's surreal. Only thing it will achieve is having a team go through a 3rd manager the same season with facing an option of having a 4th appointed during the summer and having one player less in the squad.

Ray Wilkins, Steve Holland, Eddie Newton. No options is a pretty lame excuse. Anyone of those men can be at least as "successful" as our current interim.

I think he will stay until summer (God forbid any longer) but not because there are no options. Because the board and Roman are too stubborn to admit just how wrong they were sacking a man who won the CL and replacing him with FSW.

Plus that epic chant if anyone heard 'when Rafa leaves Chelsea, we're gonna have a party oh when Rafa leaves Chelsea' :D

Ray was sacked for no reason so wouldnt see him coming back..love him to but he was another treated badly so we could 'move forward' load of bollocks!

He was sacked for telling Gourlay to f***-off, I don't recall any statement from the club regarding "moving forward", the usual "thanking him for his service" rhetoric but that was it.

Crap decision that it was, made by an individual who had his own non-footballing motives, but that's what happens when it gets personal and Wilkins lost control momentarily and gave the twat the opportunity. He'd have made the perfect DOF with a certain Portuguese Manager.

I told you he was rubbish, it'll get worse before it gets better. We're losing the away form now, with sterile performances and players clearly not bonding at all with him. JT can't even look at the twat, no-one was taking a blind bit of notice of his instructions today, most pretended not to listen.

We've had 'The Special One', now we've got 'The Incompetent One'!

I'd agree that perhaps not spending may be encouraging, it possibly suggests that Roman's had it up to the eye-teeth with tubby and the other imbeciles and will keep his wallet closed until he gets other people in place.

I was prepared to give him a chance more in hope than expectation, but the guy is simply appalling in every respect. I loathe seeing his fat face on tv because he's so uncharismatic and talks so much bollocks. He's just not Chelsea in any way, shape or (especially) form.

I think the board look at all the players we're going to have in the summer and think we may not need to spend huge amounts, or that the players who we might want (Modric for example) won't be available until then. This season is simply us paying the price for the fuck-ups in team planning up until 2010-2011.
