I would guess that Zenden is used by Benitez as an intermediary between himself and the players. If RB had the slightest clue about the club he'd realise that Zenden wasn't exactly Mr Popular when he was here. Plus all I can picture is the twat doing that silly dance celebration when Sunderland won at the Bridge, which I realise is personal but it still rankles.

I'm not so sure. If the guy is actually risking our top four aspirations by resting players so they can be fit for cup games, then he's a massive cunty twat and you can understand people's anger towards him.

The league has to be the priority for Chelsea Football Club. But he doesn't get a photo with a cup or something to put on his CV for that.

I can understand people's anger towards Rada, of course I can. I was angry with the team he fielded last night. And I agree that the league is top priority for us.

But wishing to see the club you support lose? That's crossing the line and it's something I will never be able to understand.

I agree but for me it's a case of prioritising stuff. I'd rather play a weaker team in the cups and play a full-strength one in the league, whereas Benitez seems to have focussed on making sure Mata and Hazard were available for the next two games. Now he might be following orders, but whoever made the decision got it wrong.

The cups might be great this season, but we need to secure Champions League football for next season and at the moment he doesn't have an investment in that.

Agree with all of that. And it's possible he was receiving orders from above, but it's unlikely.

If you look back at the pre-match thread you'll actually see that I was one of the few people saying we need to field a full-strength team, which is why everyone calling for Rafa's head because of his rotation is annoying me. Those same people were wanted to see rotation for match as well.

To be honest, I don't care too much about cups this season. I would love if we won them, but I'm more worried about setting ourselves up for next season. In other words, getting ourselves into a CL spot and preparing for when we actually have a full-time manager.

Well i will even admit that we didn't deserve to beat Barcelona at all, but it was no fluke, but it isn't the same. And the reason why it isn't is because we got our revenge, we battered them on both legs and deserved at least 4 or 5 penalties, but you know what happened obviously.
