I agree with some of this, but not all.... those who give up spare time and there money to attend games are genuinely real fans. Most of those who used to be seated near me travel for several hours to attend games, some have the money to spare, others don't but they all donate thier personal time to actually attend a game. This is not a dig (because everyone's circumstances are different) but its far easier to log onto an online stream post a few comments on a forum than it is to actually travel to a game.

I don't understand why there even should be a comparison. We all love Chelsea and support the team to the best of our abilities.

I've done the math before and it would cost me $5,000 and three days of my life to attend one single match. That is time and money I cannot afford to be a regular at the bridge. I usually watch matches at home, I would like to watch them at a pub but its pretty tough to fond a spot where I live. Games come on some time between 5am to 9am which means I usually watch them at home along with a hangover from the ocasional wild Friday night. Hopefully one day I become a millionaire and have the resources to make it to the bridge often.

Never miss a game either online or on TV. Used to go to every game in the 70' and 80's but responsibilities curtailed that!

Every premier and champions league is on TV but I only ever watch Chelsea!

Thailand is 6 hours in front during summer time so champions league is a pain starting at 2AM now 3 later on!

I agree with you too an extent, definitely when it comes tointernational supporters.

But if you live in the UK I really think you should try to make the effort to attend a live game at some point. Hypothetical situation, two Chelsea fans live together, one goes to games the other only ever streams. Who would you say it more committed?

Not a dig at anyone, circumstances some time dictate that you can't attend games. Some of those who do (as pointed out) lack passion. But on the whole the most passionate fans tend to part with hard earned cash and more importantly time to go to a game from time to time. Just my opinion...

For those of you who have said that you watch our games online. Where do you actually go online to watch our matches? Because i'd like to start watching games online aswell. As i currently only listen to matches on sky sports news. (When our matches aren't being shown on SS or ESPN) But it's obviously not the same as watching the goals fly in. Lol.

If you look in the match threads about 5 minutes before the game a few links will usually be posted for the game.

This is a good site if no links are posted though
